Anvanaar
Hi, guys. Well, this is my very first archetype. It is still work in progress, needs a little more balancing - but I think it's on a good way. It will get more support and more different monsters, but it can be looked at as "complete" since the basic strategy already works. I also show you some cards that are not exactly a part of the archetype, but they were made to work well with it. So here you go: MONSTER CARDS: EFFECT MONSTERS:[attachment=36752:Darkspawn.jpg] [attachment=36757:Disgusting Rat Soldier.jpg] SYNCHRO MONSTERS: [attachment=36749:Arma the forbidden Beast.jpg] [attachment=36750:Bone Spirit.jpg] [attachment=36756:Diabolic Timelord.jpg] [attachment=36759:Hell Watchdog.jpg] [attachment=36761:Nightmare.jpg] XYZ MONSTERS: [attachment=36748:Abomination Dragon.jpg] [attachment=36753:Demon King Darkslayer the Terrible.jpg] [attachment=36755:Diablon the enchained Demon Lord.jpg] [attachment=36758:Doomguard.jpg] SPELL CARDS: [attachment=36751:Cards for Souls.jpg] [attachment=36754:Demonic World.jpg] TRAP CARDS: [attachment=36760:Life Robbery.jpg] The strategy is, basically, to use Demon Monsters's discarding effects (through discarding them with the help of other cards, of course) to gain field advantage and also to be able to get out the Synchro Monster "Nightmare". It is the Monster Card that will bring you the big plays - your Xyz Monsters. But for "Nightmare", you neccessarily NEED "Darkspawn", so make sure to get two of these little fellas out real quick. All Demon Xyz Monsters need Demon Synchro Monsters as Xyz Material. All Demon Synchro Monsters need "Nightmare" to be Summoned. So since you don't really have a lot of power houses in your Main Deck when you play Demons, you really want to get out your "Nightmare" as fast as possible - but with your Demon Synchro Monsters, you still don't exactly have a demonic army of doom on the field... no, you need your Demon Xyz Monsters! These are very powerful and definitely make up for all the setup. But what you really want to do is get your boss monster out - the Demon King! That bad guy needs possibly the longest setup you have ever heard of - you need "Nightmare", then you need Demon Synchro Monsters, then you need Demon Xyz Monsters without Xyz Material - and THEN you can finally Summon the King of Demons. And it's worth it - he is basically indestructible as long as you don't run out of Demon Monsters to keep in your Graveyard, and he gets stronger every turn. But sooner or later, he WILL kill himself with his effect - and that's where you could think of adding Diablon to your team. Why? Simple: He can detach Xyz Materials from other Xyz Demon Monsters and add them to your hand - and from there, you can find your ways to kick 'em back into the graveyard. So, that's it. Short version: - Secure the field and protect yourself with the demons' discard-effects - Get out "Darkspawn" and then "Nightmare" fast to Synchro Summon into some good effects - Keep up the speed with the always returning "Nightmare" to Xyz Summon into your Rank 6 Demons - Try to finally get out the King of Demons after filling the Graveyard with Demons and win your opponent over So, what do you think? And sorry if the cards take up much space - I don't know how to put in a spoiler T__T Explain it to me and I'll fix that if it annoys you. gamoholic
Demon is the OCG version of fiend. So yes it is, however if these are for the tcg (being in english), then they should be fiends. Otherwise seems ok, although i didnt read them all.
