xxwolfz
Hi I am English and so thought it would be cool to do a set of cards on English myths. This is my first time posting so if I do anything wrong please do tell me. Hope you enjoy. here are all the arthurian knights and their related cards. Now for Merlin and Guinevere And heres just a card to do with England in Medieval times that i thought was quite cool. Let me know what you think and if you feel the cards need any explaining let me know.
Xi-1
A good start, although you could crop some of the pictures to avoid them looking squashed. Your card grammar could also use work, and saying just that about your very first effort is quite impressive. I am unsure as to whether "King Arthur" having 2200 ATK and DEF is too balanced for a Level 5 monster. I think his once-per-turn destruction immunity effect could earn him between 2 and 3 more Levels. There's no reason he should be so immune all on his own, is there? Excalibur (which you misspelled): "This card can only be equipped to "King Arthur:" it gains 800 ATK. When the equipped "King Arthur" battles a Warrior- or Spellcaster-Type monster, that monster loses 500 ATK." As you can see, I would limit the effect a bit more. Lancelot's ATK is a bit high for a Level 4 Effect Monster. It is also okay to say "when you control" instead of "when this monster is on the field." Sir Galahad: "This monster does Piercing Damage." Sir Percival's ATK is too high for a Level 4 monster -- "Goblin Attack Force" only has 2300 ATK, and 0 DEF. "Gawain's Trial" will not work because you do not have a monster named "Gawain," as listed in the activation condition. "Arthurian Knight Charge:" If you control 4 or more Warriors with "Sir" or "King Artthur" in their names, destroy all of your opponent's monsters. You cannot declare any attacks with the monsters you controlled at the time this card is activated." "Camelot:" I've been in the Ponyverse way too long. The way the effect is written, your opponent's monsters must attack your monsters. Even if you meant they cannot attack, I'm certain I would not go so far with a Field Spell card that lasts more than 1 turn like this one. "Knight's of the Round Table:" This card could use a complete redo, because it is an automatic win and that's no fun. How about "As long as you control this card, all monsters with "Sir" or "King Arthur" in their name gain 500 ATK and 200 DEF for every other "Sir" monster you control." ? Deck, Graveyard, and Banished Pile should be capitalized, oh 'Once and Future Cardmaker.' I would think Merlin would be either balanced or have an offensive focus. And I don't think he can block all magic, as displayed when he comes up against Morgan le Fey. When I want to equalize magic power, I say something like "this card is unaffected by Normal Spell Cards." Guen is now a Spellcaster-Type? When did that happen? Her stats are low for her Level, even if her effects are more appropriate for a higher Level monster. You should also restrict Lancelot's ATK if you're going to let him "attack your opponent's Life Points directly." "Court Jester" is going to be a very useful way to refresh your opponent's Deck for him or her -- you will be thanked.
xxwolfz
Thanks for the comments I have used most of the changes you have made and also made some changes of my own and made some new cards. Some might be too overpowered though. And I decided to give Arthur the ability to be immune for once per turn to give him the feeling that he is one of the most legendary warriors ever. I am thinking of reducing its effect to being immune to DARK monsters. And keeping him lvl 5. Here I made some drastic changes to Merlin And here is what I would call the decks trump card might be a little overpowered though. Not the horse but this
Deathdwarf
Well, Knights of the Round Table seems a bit OP to me and King Arthur - The Legend is very, very, VERY strong too. But its cool, never the less!
