pdal6942
I really like the concept, The OCG is great, The picture is fitting, i cant really think of anything unbalanced about the card. If this was a real card, id run it in my dragon deck. Great job, having to activate it on your standby phase is great. though i think it would be more effective if the effect ran through till the end phase of your opponents next turn, other wise it seems like your really just limiting your self in terms of special summoning attacking, and using traps and spells. I can almost feel the tension, your opponent deals some massive damage, Your life poitns are low, you know if you can draw one card you can change the tide, you draw your card and its this card, you activate it and then normal summon a monster, end your turn. your opponent cant really hurt you this turn so your safe. your next turns comes the effect is gone, you draw a card and summon another monster then syncro or xyz summon and boom your back in the game. You put yourself at a major disadvantage with this card. You deal no damage, but you do get a free turn to Normal Summon(not much of a boost), you can only use effects that activate off-field, and, provided you got nothing out of your free draw, your opponent can waste you. You can Summon Beast-King Barbaros, or Fusilier Dragon, but that doesn't put you anywhere.
Alpakha
The OCG is good, but not great. Standby Phase and Special Summon are capitalized. I might be missing some other things, but I'm not gonna focus on that. It has to be activated during your standby phase, that makes it card useless. Ironically, it's the thing balancing it. If you took that out the card would be way worse than one day of peace. Both player gets a draw, but then you won't be able to Special Summon, activate certain effects, or at least deal damage that turn. No one would run this card, other than pdal. Judαs
OCG:Activate only during your Standby Phase: Both players draw 1 card. Until the end of this turn, card effects cannot activate on the field, neither player can Special Summon, and neither player takes any damage.About your card, nothing new to say about it; I know you tried to balance it, sure it's balanced, but it's unplayable because it is absolutely of no real use. One Day of Peace was popular because it guaranteed the turn count to be forwarded by 2 and there was nothing that could be done about it. Preventing any damage to be taken on your turn only allows you to ram into higher ATK monsters, which changes the whole reason One Day of Peace was played in the first place. HugPhoenix
The way I wanted it, cards can be set and activated, just the effects of the cards are negated. Like say, I activate Swords of Revealing Light. It doesn't flip my opponent's monsters face-up, but the opponent wouldn't be able to attack next turn. It does seem quite deterring to yourself... Thanks everyone
