Light-Up Dragon

Might make an archetype out of this, who knows. Anyways here's the card:
Light-UpDragon-2.png

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by having 5 or more monsters with different names in your Graveyard and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Only 1 “Light-Up Dragon” can be Special Summoned per turn. When this card is Special Summoned, if it was Special Summoned while there was a LIGHT monster in your Graveyard: You can shuffle 1 or more (Max. 3) LIGHT monsters into your Deck; this card gains this effect:
* When this card attacks, if there is a LIGHT monster in your Graveyard: This card’s ATK becomes 3000 until the end of the Battle Phase, also you can banish 1 LIGHT monster in your Graveyard; this card is unaffected by other card effectes until the End Phase.

Alternate version:

Hey, wow.  I actually really like this card.

Seems to me like it could be a real nice replacement for Judgment Dragon in Lightsworns.  You can still drop 3 on the same turn if you meet the conditions, but I don't see that being too much of a problem.

Seems okay to me. Not much to say about the effect.  OCG is good, and it seems pretty balanced.

It would look awesome as a Secret Rare too.

Hm perhaps, I could add "Only 1 "Light-Up Dragon" can be Special Summoned per turn" to it if you feel it's needed.

This is an interesting card and i would definitely run this in my Raysworn deck. But sadly thats my problem with this card xD My reasons for this are:

If we take for instance my deck, if i set magical merchant then you flip it during your BP i mill virtually my whole deck (only 3 spells and 37 monsters) i grab monster reincarnation (if i haven't opened with this) then i summon this, add EVERY SINGLE CARD i just milled back into my deck. That allows me to set up my hand and graveyard perfectly for virtually no cost. And since this effect is triggered on the summon, even if you bottomless it that effect is going through xD

For this reason, the card is absolutely flipping bananas. And to top it all off, this card is virtually invincible if it manages to attack. Very OP.

I suggest you limit the " You can shuffle 1 or more LIGHT monsters into your Deck" to about 2 or 3 and make it so they have to have different names (remember pot of avarice exists aswell) or even better remove that bit entirely.

As much as i'd love to make my Raysworn deck even more OP than it already is and i would run three of these lol (not to mention almost any light deck could run one or two of these) , this would get banned or limited soooo quickly. Good idea but its just too good. I hope i helped, if i missed anything im sure someone a lot more experienced could pick up on what i left out ^^

You shouldn't really view cards on how they best make an OTK, only how they play with other balance, Magical Merchant already breaks a lot of other plays that way. I can see how the return should maybe be nerfed a little in case of things like that, and will make it so the max is 3.

EDIT: I updated the card a bit.

Its not that im judging it on just how it makes an OTK. That's just where it would most see use, in a lightsworn/ray deck, and would be not only another boss monster to add to the list, it lets me get my cards i milled back almost eliminating the worry of decking out. Just saiyan..

well I edited it so it won't be possible anymore (at least not as much).
