Massenger of the Lords of Darkness

"Emissaries of the Darkness Lords" is a set I'm working on lately, "Messenger of the Darkness Lords" is the first card in this set so far...I'll mention that I don't know what this set gonna stands for yet...so, here it is:

 

 

 

 

 

Lore:

If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, you can target 1 face-up Fiend or Zombie-Type monster on the field: send it to the Graveyard, then, you can Special Summon 1 Fiend-Type monster in face-up Attack Position with 1000 DEF from the sent monster Graveyard, It cannot attack during the turn this card is destroyed.

If this card is destroyed by battle, you can select 1 face-up Fiend, Warrior or Zombie-Type monster on the field and send him to the Graveyard, then you can Special Summon 1 Fiend-Type monster with 1000 DEF from the sent monster Graveyard to your field in face-up Attack Position.

A shorter name you could choose is "Missionary of Darkness"

it implies that it is a messenger of sorts that seeks to spread the influence of the realm of/rulers of "Darkness"

 

Its coverage seems a little broad and lengthy in text. I think that it could use some manor of draw back for the newly summoned monster, maybe restricting its battle position, not allowing it to attack, negating its effects, not becoming Xyz/Synchro Material.

 

I think its balanced(or close to it) however its Lore can be cleaned.

 

Try: "If this card is destroyed as a result of battle and sent to the graveyard, you can target 1 face-up Fiend, Warrior or Zombie-Type monster on the field: send it to the Graveyard, then, you can Special Summon 1 Fiend-Type monster with 1000 DEF or less from either Player's graveyard in Attack Position."

 

^I'm sure someone else can think of a better way to clean that up.

The card set is "Emissaries of the Darkness Lords" so the name u chose is a bit similar (though I can still use it)
