Stan Alda
EARTH Level 10 Beast-Warrior/Synchro/Effect 1 "Nordic Beast" Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, you can negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent controls, until the End Phase. During the End Phase, if this face-up card on the field was destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard this turn, you can remove from play 1 "Nordic Beast" Tuner monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. When it is Special Summoned by this effect, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. 3500/2800 Sure, it's a steep cost, but I like mass negation and revival of a 3500 beatstick. I've never seen anyone use it, even when people actually used Synchros a few formats ago. I'd like to know why. That, and I wanted to give Sora something to talk about. Volcanism
Never seen anyone use it? Nordic Beasts topped YCS'. He is really easy to Summon with Black Goat. White Goat and Hamster make it even easier to Summon and their trap that searches a Nordic makes it ludicrous.

White Goat and Hamster make it even easier to Summon and their trap that searches a Nordic makes it ludicrous. Like I said, I've never seen it used myself. In my experience, it's "blah blah blah Xyzs blah blah Synchros suck blah blah*. Then again, it probably says more about the people I duel with than the card itself. Strider Tigerwolf
It's one of those monsters that's actually worth the summon. Tbh, all the Nordic Synchros and monsters are balanced given the way the deck plays, but won't stand out anymore due to power creep...and mermails...and fire fist...and other crap. The card itself needs some more support >: and those unicorns need a viable deck too...
Volcanism
http://ycmlegendsseries.blogspot.ca/2011/11/deck-profile-dog-kings-nordic-deck.html?m=1 This guy top 8'd a YCML with this deck. Worth a look.
evilfusion
The most playable of the Polar Gods. 3500 ATK makes it the middle one in strength, and the Nordic Beasts actually have real synergy with each other with the 2 Tanns and Guldfaxe easily gathering Level 10. The negation effect is lulzy, and since Nordic Beasts have synergy and search power, paying the revival cost isn't too steep. 800 damage is a bit weak, though, even for reviving a 3500 monster. The same general combo, but playing Vanadis as a Tuner can give you access to Odin or Loki, but Loki won't be able to revive itself and retrieve a Trap, and Odin only has Vanadis itself as fodder in that case (and drawing a card is awesome for reviving a 4000 monster that can make itself immune to S/Ts). Nordics are a fun Deck, but they can be a bit too passive and lack protection from common threats like banishing and bounce.
