Actually not quite bad for your first set, though you need some OCG fixing. Check out the About OCG thread in RC Singles, that should help you out. Anyways, onto the review:

Ladybug Soldier: This is is a pretty generic monster I would say, though that said, it probably should get a nerf, as it gain up to 2700 ATK if you manage to swarm the field a whole bunch, not something I'm a fan off, but that said, it's so generic that you probably should change the whole effect all together.

OCG fix:

This card gains 300 ATK for each Insect-type monster you control, except this card.

Insect Matriarch:

It's actually quite cool, while it supports an extreamly easy Synchro, it is limited and requires you to Tribute a monster for it's effect, overall, think it's pretty good, and it's ATK is also pretty alright.

OCG fix:

When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-type monster from your hand.

Colorful Butterfly: It's kind of a generic Tuner, many Tuners kind of work like this, but because of the limited amount amount of Insect Synchros (2) it's balanced as it is right now. It's not horribly bad either way, because it limits itself to Insects so you can't abuse it that much.

OGC fix:
If you control a face-up Insect-type monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). This card cannot be used for a Synchro Summon or as an Xyz Material, except for an Insect-Type monster.

Mighty Beetle: Please write your effect with the space, just like how normal cards have them, that way, it's easier to read. Anyway, 1 thing that's important is that you always want point out at what point you can do something, in this case activate cards. I am gonna go on a whim here and say that you probably mean the same as Ancient Gears do, and that it's until the end of the Damage Step, in case it's different, please do add that part. The card is pretty nice, not the most special card in the world, though it's self attack protection helps your swarmy archetype a lot. And it's easy to Summon as well.

OCG fix:
Insect-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Insect-Type monsters.

If an Insect-Type monster you control attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, Spell or Trap Cards cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step.

Swarm:

This is the only card I do not thing is very good. Swarming the field like this without some sort of serious cost/condition is never a good idea. It support heavy Synchro and Xyz Summoing as well as OTKs. I would suggest scraping this card, or making a serious rework off it, giving it heavy costs and conditions. Konami does the same with cards such as Rekindling, but that is no excuse to do the same.

OCG fix:
Target 1 Level 5 or lower Insect-Type monster you control; Special Summon as many monsters from your hand with the same name as that target.

Exo-Skeleton: Now, I don't know if Equip Trap Card is a thing, from what I have searched, it doesn't seem to be, so I changed it to say Equip Card instead. It's an alright card, protection plus an addtional boost. I do think that it's a bit too slow for this set, but as it can be used during your opponent's turn, even in their Damage Step, it can be pretty useful, and the boost is nice as well, even if a bit much in my book.

OCG fix:

Equip this card to an Insect-Type monster you control as an Equip Card. The equipped monster gains 800 ATK and DEF. If this card would leave the field by an opponent’s card (either by battle or by card effect): Destroy this card instead.
