2 or more Spectral monsters

So, how do they work? Well, firstly, they are not Extra Deck monsters. These are cards you would place in your deck like a normal Effect monster. They cannot be Normal Summoned , however, but only Spectral Summoned.

Spectral Summoning is a type of Special Summon whereby you banish the appropriate monsters listed on a Spectral monster; and Special Summon it from your hand. The monsters banish must have a total combined level that equals the level of Spectral monster being summoned, much like Synchro monsters.

Here is what makes it interesting though, the monsters banished must also be Spectral Monsters. And these monsters are banished straight from the deck, similar to the summoning of a Malefic monster.

Spectral monsters then gain effects based on the number of or type of Spectral monsters banished. Hence the name, as the banished monsters act as 'Spectres' to influence the other card's effects.

The summoned monster may have an effect that allows you to return a banished Spectral monster to your hand or deck, allowing you to commence another summon; but losing out on it's effects in the process.

This also means that as more summons occur, less other Spectral monsters can be summoned; as these will have been banished in order to summon in the first place. This gives (in my view, at least) a balanced and fair mechanic.

More cards will be added shortly. In the mean time, tell me what you think; if they're seem balanced, if they may effect rulings in any way; and if they work as a concept.

Thanks to Judas for the template.
