.codex
Just kidding, its just a random ship :P 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned, it gains effects based on the Level of the Tuner monster: ●Level 4 or lower: When this card is destroyed by battle: Banish the monster that destroyed this card. ●Level 5 or higher: This card gains 500 ATK for each monster you control, except this card. When this card declares an attack, if you control no other monsters: Destroy the attack target, and if you do, this card loses 200 ATK and gains 500 DEF, also you can change this card to Defense Position. uberkrasch
Well hold on just one second if the monster is destroyed when the attack is declared you can choose another attack target (which would also be destroyed etc etc) was this your intention?!?! Also it even works if you attack a more powerful monster?!?!
tkheezy68
Alright. Really don't see the purpose of this card. Its a level 8 monster that doesn't have the ATK of most other level 8 monsters, I realize its because of its 2nd summoning effect but I'll get to that in a second. The first effect is way too slow. Yes it does make the opponent a bit reluctant to attack it but since the effect only happens when the card is destroyed by battle, it doesn't stop the opponent from using card effects that will destroy it or banish it. Why not just change the first effect to be similar to Caius? I.E. When this card is Synchro Summoned: Target 1 Monster on the field; banish that target. Its faster and has a practical use. Getting the 2nd effect is impractical. Many of the level 5 and up tuners are not very good or perhaps you're thinking that they would have a tuner similar to "Copy Plant" in terms of level manipulation but this would require running a deck specifically tooled for that and then if you did there are far better monsters to summon for than this. A better idea would be having the requirement being around how many non-tuner monsters were used for the Synchro Summon, since that is far more practical. Now let's talk about that 2nd effect, the 500 ATK boost when other monsters are on the field is warranted if you fulfill that insane tuner requirement, although it conflicts with the second part of this effect. The 2nd part of this effect is a bit confusing to read but I'm assuming that it's "When this monster declares an attack (while you control no other monsters): you can destroy that attack target immediately and if you do this monster loses 200 ATK and 500 DEF. When this effect resolves, you can switch this card to Face-up Defense position" This effect doesn't make sense considering the requirement to get it and the prior ATK gaining effect since the player would have to chose between more attack or immediate monster destruction. It would be better suited if the effect was "If this card attacks another monster: you can immediately destroy that monster(without damage calculation)." Basically Catastor's effect with some tweaks. If you do change it to this you'll have to get rid of the ATK gain which won't matter since the effect will more than make up for it. And throw out that Defense position change it doesn't have any use other than just being there. TL;DR I suggest that you give this card an original ATK of 2600. Have the requirement for each effect be how many non-tuners were used in the summon( 2+ for the first; 3+ for the second), allow the card to get both effects for satisfying the 2nd requirement, and remove the ATK gain, the effect will more than make up for that 1st effect should be changed to: When this card is Synchro Summoned: Target 1 Monster on the field; banish that target. 2nd effect should be changed to: If this card attacks another monster: you can immediately destroy that monster(without damage calculation). This should make the card have a better chance of being played rather than glanced at.
