Right

This time i want a nice discussion from people;

Not a simple, its good / bad + a rating.

I want peoples thoughts on what i should, or could

do to this card

Notes

I originally made the 'opponent send cards' idea way back in December, but i only used it on 2 cards (Vulkendrache and Zauberei). They did not have the 'Choice' sub-type, nor an advantage for your opponent.

It's a 'choice' monster as it gives your opponent a Choice;

A bad thing happens either way

Bad Thing - Good Thing

Destroys their Deck - Decreases your ATK / may give them a prize.

Lets you have a high ATK monster + possible over Effect - saves their Deck.

Its upto your opponent to decide what they want to do, either way, you both gain an advantage, but both lose something.

A 50/50 Choice card in a way

The reward for your opponent is to tempt your opponent to destroy their Deck, which is the purpose of the Choice cards.

Now what i want to know is, from you guys reading this, is, is it an Ok idea? would it work, and do you have any suggestions to Tweak it up abit?

^_^

Pepper Valkyrie

As a last note, i just noticed while making this thread that it might be better for me to decrease its ATK by 300 instead of 200, as the entire thing needs 4 traps to work otherwise.

Suggestions people ^_^ ??

i like the idea alot. the idea of giving your opponent a choice to use your effects while either way something good and something bad will happen is interesting. great idea dj. as always you amaze me with your origionality. if my opponent had used that card, i would let them have a 2500 beatstick because most decks use few traps anymore. anyway i think it could work. if there is a way to better them, i may be able to find one later but as of now i can find nothing..

Thank You ^_^

I myself do not play the game, so am unaware of factors such as people use Few Traps, altho i have heard that from time to time.

Traps for this was just my initial thought at the time, i shall be making some using Spells and Monsters also;

If this card goes down well.

Ill comment later but it definitely is a good idea of new cards. If it helps you or your opponent more then Ill leave that up for next time as my bed time is nigh [like yous want to know that :S]

Ill give my take on it, ideas, strategies etc when I get back [dont think Im gonna cop out and not return with more input. just rushing]

i dont know if im right but where it says "increase the DEF of a choice monster on your field by 200." shouldn't it say "select 1 monster on your side of the field. Increase that monster's DEF by 200."

Anyway i really like the card and i think there are plenty of ways you could use it

for example; cemetery bomb, Skull Invtation, and any amountof remove from play combos

Well, it is an extremely good idea, and I am blown away once again at the crazy (in a good way) effects you can come up with. I definitely think this could work, and work very well indeed. You should DEFINITELY continue the set.

I agree that is should be a decrease of 300 rather than 200, it would make the choice even harder for your opponent (less traps for the reward makes picking harder). Spells would definitely be the next logical choice, and I would try to stay away from monsters (especially with all the powerful cards coming out in the newest expansion that rely on dark monsters in the graveyard)

All-around, a very good card, and a very good set idea. I can't wait to see more of the Choice monsters ^_^

P.S. As I think about it more, if it was your Choice cards against my Hidden cards, I think I would get an advantage by discarding cards to my graveyard as that would help me unleash the better effects of the set, so I would definitely have an extremely hard time choosing. I guess I'm glad neither of our sets will ever be real cards ;)

Guest JoshIcy

finally... a unique idea, i would have preferred a new member to do this but beggars cant be choosers right?

the effect is kinda, wth lol. but the uniqueness is unparralleled, just what i would expect from you. the only thing that bugs me is that you kept the effect part in there... im sure you know how to get rid of that right? just look at gemini monsters lol they dont say 'effect'

10/10 ^.^

It's good. The type of effect has been done before, the only thing you really did was add a Sub-type to it, making it a new kind of monster. There are some key factors that doesn't make this a 10/10.

Originality: 8.9/10 Nice effect, but it's been done before. But you saved it with those twists you always through in.

Pic: 9/10 I like it.

Name: 10/10 I see nothing wrong with it.

Effect: 8.5/10 A little simple for you, but still good.

Overall:8.9/10

It's no bad. If this card was for monsters or spells, then it would be ridiculously underpowered, as the opponent can thin their deck, and search out any monster/spell. However, the fact that traps are less played makes this card not too underpowered.
