i personally dont have a taste for rap, anything that requires you to breathe every 2min in order to sing it... i dont like it.... and the songs are like what chris rock in one hbo special said, "It dont matter how nasty the song is as long as the beat is good".. albeit that can be true, but if the lyrics are so nasty that if someone were to say those statements randomly they would be kicked.... i simply dont like it

most of thier songs are highly entertaining and fun to listen too. so try them and these songs are very good-

"Shawty Get Loose", "I'm Sprung", "Stronger", "Goodlife", "With You" and "Smack That". these are fun and nice songs to have on your MP3. they arent exactly rap but are more of R&B but it's all under the same catagory RAP.

Listen to that song "Cause of Death" that Kramer posted, almost every swear in there helped stress the seriousness of the issues. The line that eludes to patriotism not being heroic is perhaps the best example I can give you in that song, but its enough to show that not all swearing in rap is mindless, which is what you were trying to imply.

A. You're wrong, actually. The quality of music is subjective, and as such, it's each individual's opinion whether or not it's good or bad. Music is music, but the word music implies instruments with vocals, not the aforementioned material.
