Deep Dark Ocean

A HUGE power boost to the WATER monsters. I don't really like using Antlanteans so these cards (primarily Sea Serpants) will be a huge addition to any old-school-non-antlantean Ocean Deck.

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to its owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. Once per turn, you may return 1 face-up monster you control (except Bake Kujira). The turn that this effect is activated, all Spell and Trap cards are negated.

A new Spirit monster. If you already have a few monsters on your side of the field, this guy will be able to freeze your opponents back row. Very helpful.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned (from your hand) when you are attacked with no monsters on your side of the field. When this card is successfully Special Summoned, you may search your deck for a Sea Serpent-type monster. Show that monster to your opponent and add it to your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

If you are about to take a direct attack, you get a 2800 ATK beast. He also searches your deck and gives you another Sea Serpant into your hand

Despite its size, it is one of the fastest beasts in the sea. It is rumored that if it sees a human in the water, it will protect them by attacking other monsters in the area.

A normal monster who is one of the strongest level 5s out there. With ALO or equivelent, he can be a HUGE beatdown.

This card can attack your opponent directly. While you control a Sea Serpent-Type monster, your opponent cannot target this card for an attack.

A nice little thorn in your opponents side. Keep him defended, and get an easy 700 off your foe's LP

If you control a face-up "Davy Jones" monster, you can Special Summon this card from the graveyard by banishing 2 WATER Monsters from your graveyard. As long as this card remains face up on the field, all Sea Serpent Monsters can not be destroyed by card effects.

In league with her male counterpart, Lady Jones can be SS from the grave. She has a great defense and will keep your snakes safe.

This card's name is treated as "Umi" while it is on the field, in your hand, or in the graveyard. Reduce the Level of all Fish, Sea Serpent, and Aqua monsters in both player's hands and on the field by 1. All monsters on the field and in either player's graveyard are treated as WATER-Type monsters.

Another Umi clone (because no, there isnt enough!). Not only does it have the level reduction of ALO, but it also transforms all monsters you and your opponent control into the WATER-type. Very useful with some other cards in this deck.

This monster can not be destroyed by battle. If this card battles a WATER-Type monster, banish that monster at the end of the Damage Step.

Like this guy! Without Land vs. Sea he is pretty weak and useless, but combined, he can banish your opponents monsters with ease!

If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.

A nice swarming tuner addition.

Declare 1 monster name. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, that monster is treated as a WATER-Type monster.

Similar benefits to LvS. also not too shabby of a lvl 4

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Vander Decken - Davy Jones". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or your side of the field whose total Levels equal 8 or more. If Marine Kraken is face-up on the field, this card and this Ritual Summon can not be negated.

Mhmm... you read correctly. Ritual Summon. While 90% of decks have forgotten what these are, I have not. Davy Jones can be summoned with this, and if his trusty Kraken is around, his coming can't be stopped

Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Ritual Summoned with "Skull Locker From the Deep". As long as this card is face up on the field, all face up Monsters are treated as Water Monsters. All Sea Serpent, Fish, and Aqua Monsters can not be targeted by card effects.

The king of Ghost Ship Captains. He has the same effect as LvS, treating all Face Up's as water monsters. He also gives his allies a nice anti-targeting defense. (even though your opponent's monsters are water, chances are they wont be fish, sea serpant, or aqua)

This monster can not me Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned when you take Battle Damage. This card's ATK becomes the number of WATER-Type monsters on the field and in both player's graveyards x200. If this card battles with a WATER-Type monster, Banish that card at the end of the Damage Step.

Named after one of my favorite zombies, this beast is only summonable when you take Battle Damage. But when you do, his attack can really add up fast! (especially deep in the duel). When combined with LvS or Jones, this guy is a real powerhouse

Monsters in the graveyard can not leave the graveyard. When this card leaves the field, your opponent can Special Summon a level 4 or lower monster from their graveyard.

A nice trap card that shuts down both player's graves. It comes at a price though. If this card is destroyed, your opponent gets a freebee!

While "Umi" is face-up on the field, this card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase.

Another card that may be pointless without an Umi (you really want a level reduction), this guy can attack twice if the field is drenched.

If you control another Sea Serpent-Type monster on your side of the field, this card can not be targeted by your opponent's card effects.

A simple tuner that may be a little weak, but still cant be targeted by effects if there is another sea serpant present.

And thats my new Deep Ocean deck. I do not claim the artwork. Please feel free to give your feedback or fix any typing errors. Thanks.
