If there is a Face-up Xyz monster on the field: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) and attach it to an Xyz monster on the field as an Xyz material. If this card is detached; destroy 1 card on the field.

Worked up a little concept whereby you can add materials to Xyzs and gain some bonuses for your effort. This is the idea in its simplest form. It can be used both with your own Xyzs, and your opponent's; which might make it marginally more useful. Feedback is appreciated.

Welp, I like the idea of this but at the same time it could have the Gaia Charger effect. Which is basically where you have a monster that should be able to be made or take a certain material and instead open it up so it almost makes the mechanic pointless.

 

Now you might tell yourself "What the hell are you taking about" or you might just tell that to my face. Either way, I'm not done explaining.

 

So far, as wording goes this can attach itself to any Xyz which seems a bit to good of a buff imho. Perhaps, word it so it can only attach itself to Xyz's that require it's level. I do know that there are a few spell & traps the can attach to Xyz's but most of those aren't all that great. This on the other hand you can activate on your turn at anytime so long as you have a target.

I think the balance between cards like Xyz Reborn, or Overlay Regen; is that, as a monster that is first Special Summoned; it is easily negate-able in numerous ways. Having said that, matching it to a corresponding rank might be interesting.

 

This would be a small support card for an Xyz-centric deck that can make room for it. I couldn't see it in incarnates, or anything like that; but maybe in more general builds.

I think this effect is fine, but it can not be on a monster. Monsters are (or at least much more) searchable and revivable than spells/traps. Still I understand that it can trigger TT & other traps (though it is not over 1500 ATK... !?), and that something which can actually make another Xyz is better. I hope this was both helpful and clear.

I might make it 1500 ATK. But, as you can see, it has to be in the hand in order to activate it's effect. So it's only The Warrior Returning Alive that's really going to allow it to be reused. On top of that, it can't go into an Xyz itself through the effect, only act as support for existing Xyzs. I felt this was a healthier direction to take it into than more spam support. That was clear, thanks.
