This card gains 200 ATK x the number of Xyz Material it has. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card has "Constellar Praesepe" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.
• Once per turn, during either player's Damage Step, when a face-up LIGHT monster you control battles: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; that monster gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the monster it is battling, until the End Phase.
ATK 2600 DEF 2100

Shouldn't be too hard to figure out how this fits together. Rate/fix please.

EDIT: Adjusted it once. Might be a bit OP now, but it in total involved using a crapton of cards from your Extra Deck, 2 Level 4 Constellars, and a RUM. Also, it's semi-usable for its regular ability. You'll probably have 5 or 6 Xyz Materials, so he's stronger for a little bit.

Seems a bit overly complicated, going from Praesepe to Ptolmys, then Ptolmys to Gaia Dragoon before Ranking Up into this. I mean, you're simply doing all this to gain 200 ATK, additional Xyz Materials (by which you'll already have 5 if you haven't used any effects), Piercing, and a half-powerful Honest effect. Furthermore, in the process, you've gone down from Ptolmys' 2700 ATK and a wonderful effect that can return any monster on the field or in the Graveyard to its owner's hand. I could be completely wrong, but I just don't see why it would be worth it to go to all of this trouble for this card.

So... what exactly am I looking at here? I'm not entirely sure how this card occurred to you, but I have a few issues with it. The first is the name: it seems... excessive. Slightly verbose. I'm impressed by the idea of performing 3 Chaos Xyz Changes in a single go, but that really, really doesn't seem worth it. Praespe can go to 3400 ATK on its own, which is already better than this. M7 has higher ATK and a really good effect you have to pass on to use this thing. Gaia Dragon has the piercing effect by itself, and the same base ATK as this thing. On top of all that, you need a RUM handy. What else can Constellars make with RUM? Either of the C39s, C106,or C104, all of which seem like a better deal and can use LVF instead (escaping the type destruction). So yeah, I don't see this as worth it.

It was an experiment in design. What kind of power up would you suggest? Bumping this to, say, 3400, with a full-out Honest effect?

3400 base ATK might be fine, I don't think the full Honest effect would be a wise decision because at that point you're getting pretty OP'd.
