playking57
[attachment=37578:Abscission.jpg] Lore: Activatewhen 1 of your monsters would be destroyed by battle. Return the defending monster to your hand and Special Summon a monster of the same type with a lower level from your hand in the same battle position. That monster recieves the attack instead. .codex
It's interesting, but I think it's too restrictive (is that even a word?) If it was the SAME Level and lower instead and you removed it would work better.
playking57
Well, abcission is when an animal drops a part of its body, like a lizard dropping its tail. I thought that it would have to be smaller than the actual animal, so I tried to represent that with a lower level. I can see your point though. forteller
hmm its nothing really wrong with this card its just that it seems underpowered the restrictions are kinda heavy for it not to be that powerful, and as far as deck space most deck would either rather stop the attack all to gather of destroyed or banish the attacking monster rather than have it kill anything... it is a counter trap which limits wat can be done to stop it but still why would i play this am i overlooking something? I can see what you mean... What if the restriction of the same battle position was removed? That way the protection effect of it would be better, so you could protect one of your stronger monsters from an attack. That monster would probably be in attack position anyway, if it is powerful, so replacing it with a less useful defense position monster would work better, wouldn't it? forteller
that better or even better than that what if i could return that monster and then summon or set one in its place.... then i could even get off flip effects or marshmallon XD

Don't know why I didn't think of that. That still sounds relatively fair, too. I'll change it up.
