It all goes off record sales though, the highest numbered records sold are obviously going to have the most fans area-wide, and are obviously going to sell more tickets, trinkets, food, and merchandise than areas that sold less albums, so if your country or your area doesn't sell a great deal of CD's, that generally means there isn't going to be a concert there any time soon (or at least not as many concerts).
