Malefic Horakhty, The Creator Shadow of Light

Divine-Beast, Dark Attribute, Level 10, Effect Monster

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 "The Creator God of Light, Horakhty" from your Deck. All instant win effects are negated for the remainder of the duel. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. Other monsters you control cannot declare an attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. This card's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of stars on the field x 200.

I don't consider it realistic because all Malefics are Dragons, and Horakhty is a Creator God, but you know.

This has probably been done before, but I don't see any.

It's a polar opposite version of Horakhty: it negates instant wins, so no Exodia or Final Countdown for you!

It's anti-swarm in the idea that the more monsters, the more attack this thing has. It has at least a decent 2400 ATK, but even one other monster on the field makes it deadly.

Has never been done before.

There's something silly about the concept of a Malefic Horakhty, especially since it isn't a dragon. Now, if you brought in a Malefic Slifer, then it would be realistic. The fact that there aren't supposed to be any non-Dragon Malefics deteriorates this card's quality. The effect itself is fairly simple. Nothing too noteworthy. In fact, when you think about it, it's WORSE than the other Malefics (Malefic Rainbow/Cyber-End Dragons), on its own anyway.  That makes everything even more disappointing than it already is. At least change the increase to x300 or something.

But still, the fact that you used Horakhty of all things is unforgivable. This card's like...well, an insult to the Creator God. I'd rather it be a completely original Malefic dragon. This can't possibly be Horakhty. And this can't possibly be a Malefic either.

Sorry if I rambled a bit, but that's what I feel about the card.

4/10.

I agree with you, I guess. Again, I didn't really put a lot of faith in this card, it's excessively unrealistic, it's Divine-Beast rather than Creator God or Dragon (I do respect Horakhty! a bit.) I'm not trying to contribute to the Malefic Archetype, or even contribute to the Divine-Beast Archetype, but I do realize that Horakhty is almost NEVER used; it's literally a collector's item. I saddens and pains me, so I made this card. It's not particularly powerful (doesn't negate much) and can be easily stopped, but...it's an alternate use for Horakhty, and a use that would stop even Exodia. A ambivalent mix of all-powerful and a just another ATK gaining monster.

And to be quite honest, I'm not sure anyone could ever make a satisfying Malefic God, even Malefic Slifer. They're Divine-Beasts, and for the same reason you don't like Malefic Horakhty, there really shouldn't be any Malefic Gods. My aim wasn't to mess with Malefics; I was simply borrowing the concept of an alternate way to use an already powerful monster. Forgive me?
