DeathSDelano Posted May 20, 2013 Report Share Posted May 20, 2013 <p><br /> I used shards of alara block to help with designing this block, and also add the last 5 remaining charms and Ultimatums that where not included during alara.<br /> This set will be a large set.<br /> This is basically the story line I came up with [its a rough draft more or less]. [as a note I am not great with words so bare with me]<br /> <br /> On a plane called Guniv, a primeval plane where it is survival of the fitness, but there are 5 unique areas of the plane each belonging to a "Lord" or Powerful creature. Each area has a strong presence 3 types of mana, and very little any other. However, the lords of these areas, and their hordes are continuously fighting each other causing the area on the border of their lands to alter due to large surges of mana being released. </p> <p>The mixing of these mana, have caused some creatures from each area to mutate due to being exposed to the high concentration of unfamiliar mana[outside of their norm]. <br /> (these will be brought up in the 2nd set] Over time these "mutated" creatures entered the war under the rule of Avatars, who have bathed in the high energy, giving them traits of both hordes they border. These avatars seek to prove to the 5 lords that they are powerless before their new found strength.<br /> <br /> So some help on this would be beneficial as well overall help.<br /> The idea of this block is to touch up on the reminding 5 3-color combinations, and introduce 4 color legendary creatures This set will also be heavily creature-based.<br /> <br /> And I did not want to come up with the 4 color avatars before, I know for sure how I want the 5 archetypes are going to do, as well as the way they should be, as the avatars will share some traits with the archtypes they share colors with as they are "mutated" creatures from the archtypes.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want to have all the lords to have a CMC of 6 using double of each mana of their colors, but if I should alter the CMC or abilities let me know.<br /> </p> <p> </p> <p>All the lords are Mythics</p> <p>there are 5 4CMC Rare creatures, similar to the Heralds from alara, but instead of sacking 3 creatures, they all have 2 other abilities, plus the ability to call their lord from the deck at the cost of playing 8 mana and tapping the "herald."</p> <p> </p> <p>let me know, if I should alter the CMC, stats, or if rule text of specific cards are boring/op. Hevah not only holds a place in their mountains, with magic of the land, they have created a great Kingdom hidden within the skys where the other lords cannot reach with ease. <br /> <br /> Note:this suppose to be the more control-ish archetype, punish your opponent for being to conservative with their resources, create a tempo for yourself, by removing threats out the way either by bouncing, burning, and so on. However, there will be cards that benefit from being bounced in the archetype as well.<br /> Mechanics: thinking of this right now, ideas for this would be helpful.</p> <p> </p> <p>Lord of Hevah</p>
