ITT: King II makes another Trap Monster [Cosmic Residue Knight]

Activate when a monster you control is destroyed/banished and leaves the field; Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position as a DARK Warrior-Type Effect Monster with the same ATK, DEF and Level as that monster before leaving the field (If it was an Xyz Monster, this card's Level becomes equal to that monster's Rank). (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.) While this card is treated as an Effect Monster, if exactly 1 card you control would be destroyed by a card effect your opponent controls: You can negate the activation and effect of that card, and if you do, destroy it, then Set this card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone.



I feel that there may be an OCG error in the first sentence...

Very interesting card. Creative and great, really. The activation timing makes any abuse non-existant, and the fact it Sets itself for reuse hits a soft part of me, value!

I like that he can give the finger to Blaster/Dragosack, and ofcourse a plethora of other cards, for instance, Grapha after a discard.

A Stardust Dragon with limited negation range, and that has a more difficult return process, in trap form. I dig it.
