ZombieWyvern_zps9d9012ff.png?t=137049858

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can banish 1 Zombie-Type monster from your graveyard; When you do: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Zombie-Type monster from your graveyard in face-up Attack Position.

When this wyvern flies the air turns putrid because of it's rotten corpse and the gases released by its dead body.

It boosts Zombies to get even more spammy than ever before! Do I like that? Well, it's limited to only the Normal Summon, and it really isn't faster than other Zombie support, and it kind of messes with the Grave, where Zombies should be, so I suppose it's alright balanced that way. It also forces them in Attack Position. The fact that Zombie World is a thing makes for interesting posibilities by using other monsters. It has Zombie-Type perfect stats as well.

You almost got the OCG correct, the "face-up" before "Attack Position" isn't needed because unless otherwise stated, Special Summons are always face-up. And the "When you do:" is wrong. If you want to ensure that the banish happens before the summon you'd go with something like this

When this card is Normal Summoned: Banish 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard, then Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard in Attack Position.

The card is nice and strong and munches on your normal summon. The only thing about this is that is doesn't target so it could be a little powerful. I'd say make it target the monster it banishes, but not the monster is summons. That way your opponent could potentially counter (with like D.D. Crow or something) but it still has the benefit of a targetless summon.

You know, you're being pretty nit picky about that, but you're actually also wrong. I searched on DN, and saw mostly new cards using the wording he did. Some new cards also had what you said, but If you look at Aurora Wing, the first card I saw on DN, it says "When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position."

I'm not "wrong", it's just superfluous text. The rules of the game state that a Special Summon is always face-up unless otherwise stated by the card. Bearing that in mind, it doesn't need to state "face-up" cause if it doesn't it would be face-up anyways.

What Konami desides to write is correct OCG, that's why we call it "Official Card Grammar" as it's the grammar used on the "Official Cards". It may be wrong that if it doens't specify, it's always face-up, but when they decide to write it like that, you should follow it. But really, it's nit picky as heck.

The ''When you do: '' Part xD

And Kaito I just didn't wanted to make the card mandatory I wanted to let the player chose wether to activate it's effect or not.

I don't really think you understand how it works. You see, Megalo Summons itself. After it does that, another effect activates. The reason behind the semi-colon is that it's a cost. You cannot have a cost, and then activate another effect again. That's not how it works. Here's how it would work with the way you wrote it:

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can banish 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position.

Uhm, I don't like the design of this.

Zombies already have PLENTY of graveyard manipulation: zombie master, book of life, mezuki, blue-blooded oni, for gogogo zombies there's gogogo giant, and for generic graveyard revival there's call and reborn.  This just adds fuel to the fire by creating an arbitrary, undeserved +1 just for normal summoning him, and let's not forget that he's searchable.  You can also revive dead zombie masters to summon even MORE junk, or gogogo ghost for an insta-3-mat rank 4.  The worst you can get with this card is an insta-Xyz, which is dumb on its own.

At the very least, have it summon the monster in defense position so that it can't summon massive damage.

Very solid card for Zombies, and would help them re-enter the fray, so to say.

It is pretty strong for the effect, and the Attack Position Summon is a little absurd. Make the Summon in Defense Position and lower the attack some. 1700 would work.

I have to ask, what template do you use/where did you get it/what program do you use etc. I would like to make cards using that template.

Just adding my two cents since I saw this card on your YouTube channel, it's the kind of card Konami would make. The stats and the effect both help zombies out a lot, and as you say, would help keep zombie decks competitive.

A lot of emphasis is put on making its summon defense position by others, but that's not really going to change much if the cards are sacrificed to summon something else. Even if they aren't, most meta decks can swarm the field with low levels now anyway, zombies should live up to their type's name in that regard.

Also as said above, nice template and picture too. :)
