Tengou
Lore: When "Left Eye of Chthonios" is face-up on the field, you can Special Summon this card from your graveyard to the field in Attack Position. If this card is changed to Defense Position; Target 1 Attack Position monster; its ATK becomes 0 and it cannot switch to Defense position while this card is in Defense Position. While this card is in Attack Position; Psychic-Type monsters cannot be destroyed in battle. When this card is sent to the graveyard, you can Special Summon a "Left Eye of Chthonios" from your hand to the field. Whenever a spell card is activated, you can choose to change the Position of this card. Notes: This card is meant to cooperate with Left Eye of Chthonios. Both of these cards benefit greatly from decks with a lot of quick play spell cards. I welcome any criticism and suggestions that will make this combo better. I will also be planning a ritual summon involving thee two cards.
Therrion
It is a really interesting card, especially in that it supports the Left Eye. Very creative and the execution is done without fail. I like how you made it so it can be destroyed by battle in Attack Position instead of Defense Position as they can still squeeze damage in. I would like to point out, however, this is actually a Left Eye and the other a Right Eye. EDIT: I noticed I broke the advanced clause, so I will go more indepth. The 0 DEF this card offers could make easy Lv. 6 Synchros with the new card Kamenleon coming out soon. I can't see any abuse to the card, even if position switching on the fly via trap cards like No Entry. E-Teleport targets that can also be used with DAD. Other then that, they aren't really playable. I would be interested in seeing the rest of the cards, and your take on how to make them viable. Perhaps you could make them Tuners, and make a Synchro that requires a Ritual as a non-Tuner for this archetype. That would be interesting. Tengou
I would like to point out, however, this is actually a Left Eye and the other a Right Eye. Haha, I'd like to say that was intentional, but I only noticed that little fact when I was finalizing the Right Eye card. I may change the card names from Right to Left and vice versa in the future. Then again, I suppose it works out very well considering if you have both of them on the field, they will look as follows: Kinda creepy actually. But creepy is good from time to time. At any rate, thanks a lot for your commentary. A ritual monster and spell card involving these two cards will be to come, as soon as I figure out the effects it should have. Also, concerning your note about position switching on the fly; that's what spell cards are for. Every time you activate a spell card you may choose to change the mode of any of these cards you have on the field, so you could activate their effects during the turn they are summoned by playing a spell card, and one quick play spell card activated during your opponent's battle phase can allow you to switch Position on any of these cards if you want, to prevent or negate attacks. That was the solution I came up with.
