Therrion Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 The name is a mash of the word "Frost" and "Fire" in Latin. Pruína=Frost, Ignis=Fire. So, its name is literally Frostfire (moreso Frofire, but whatevs). Anyways, le card. If you control a FIRE monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) as a WATER monster. If you control a WATER monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) as a FIRE monster. When this card is Special Summoned; apply the following effect based on the Attribute of this card. ● WIND: This card gains 400 ATK. ● FIRE: Destroy 1 face-up card on the field. Zazubat Posted June 18, 2013 Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 I can't really say I'm a big fan of the fact that this card destroys anything on summon, but since you do have Monarch-like clause on it, you might end up destroying your own cards. I do also find that it's probably hard to really fit anything properly. The Summon it provides is interesting, as you can use multiple of these and to get them out. It's WIND/Winged Beast is nice for Xyz Summoning, though since it loses it's WIND, that's kind of sad, but that opens up other posibilities I suppose. It's not gonna stand a chance in surviving at all really, unless you normal it for some reason, I suppose that is fine. I find it kind of hard to comment on, since the effect is something I havn't really seen before, but that's also interesting I suppose. Also, a question about your OCG, the destroy part, is it suppose to be a cost to destroy? Is it suppose to happen at the same time? Therrion Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 18, 2013 I think it was a tad powerful when I made it, considering you could just throw it in any Deck that runs alot of WATER monsters for a speedy destroy, burn, then go into an Xyz play. FIRE users wouldn't really use it, as the effect doesn't correspond with their game style, unless they just really wanted speed. The WIND is just if it's Call of the Haunted or Summoned any other way. I didn't want the WIND being good, as I mainly wanted the card to be used for the WATER/FIRE effect.
