.codex Posted June 21, 2013 Report Share Posted June 21, 2013 Got a new title hehe :P You can discard card this; add 1 Level 3 or lower Winged-Beast-Type monster to your hand, except “Spiked Flyer”, but you cannot Special Summon other monsters this turn, except Winged-Beast-Type monsters. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower LIGHT Winged-Beast-Type monster from your Deck. Therrion Posted June 21, 2013 Report Share Posted June 21, 2013 First effect is a nice Breeze SS from Deck into a Synchro play or just a nice search for Gale in a BW Deck. Also a very good search for Crane Crane provided you wish to go into an Xyz Play, especially considering this card is a Level 3 monster to boot. You can hold the Crane Crane to avoid having to not Xyz Summon, so while slow, sets up future plays with it. You can add baby Garunix to hand and set it for protection/not very surprising SS, a Kalut for a hand trap to play mind games with your opponent, or to set up Kujakujaku combos. The second effect was obviously geared towards Sacred Crane draw, being a +1 overall, and a 0 at worse. The banishing hurts it a tad by not setting it in the graveyard for CotH=Jar of Greed+Xyz set up, but that is fine as you most likely won't be relying on this card to get out your Cranes. There are only 4 targets, 2 of which you want in your hand and the 3 being a normal monster, so it is rather limiting to Crane as a whole, which I don't really like to to much. I can't really see this card being ran anymore then 2 as a RotA for the weak birds/Synchro set up plays. All in all, I really love the card.
