[Therrion DDC 1/22] Avenging Knight Helen!

I introduced the concept of DDC in my Cyber Toon Dragon post. DDC=Double Daily Challenge. Next 25 days I'll release two cards per day.

This is one of my "Synchro Remakes", so to say, in Xyz Form. I take inspiration from a produced Synchro Monster and make an Xyz Monster reflecting it. This card is modeled after "Avenging Knight Parshath" and his lesser Lv. 5 form. Rate, hate, commentate!

 

 

2 Level 4 Fairy-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Draw 1 card.

Well, it's kinda meh to be quite honest. The Fairy requirement is suppose to balance it out, but truthfully, it isn't really needed. The thing that makes Maestroke powerful, is it's protection on top of the change, here you are required to have a fairy, and the ATK on this thing isn't all that impressive. I would suggest boosting it's ATK a little bit to make it more useful.

 

OCG fix: Just 1 bit, the "Set it" part. You only Set monsters from the hand, you change their position on the field.

I still have to learn a few things with the OCG then, though I didn't doubt I'd word something wrong eventually ^^

As far as Maestroke goes, I guess you are right. I didn't factor in the fact Maestroke protects himself, so thought 2100 piercing and draw aswell as what Maestroke does may over do it without type-specific material. I would rather keep it to Fairy if I up the ATK, which provided your point, I can do and kind of need to do. Thanks Zazu.
