L0SS
2 Level 9 monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 8 Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can negate the activation of a card effect and destroy that card. Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster on the field; negate its effects, also that monster can be treated as 2 Xyz Materials for the Xyz Summon of a monster this turn. [hr] Is this broken? I think this might be broken. R4R (Therrion better give me kudos for using that). :D
Therrion
A. Kudos B. It is Rank 10, requires 2 Level 9 monsters. C. The first effect would be fine had this not be a Rank 8 monster (basically) that even gets a 3rd material for free and is stronger by far then its counterparts (in both Rank 8 and 9 department). D. The last effect is OP as well, as ofc you wouldn't do it to your opponent unless needed, your cards become insanely powerful too. Also, you may use it on an easy to Summon Lv. 8 and get another one of this out instantly. This effect has been viewed as too powerful to reach OCG/TCG yet, and remains only in the anime, and for good reason. Suggestions: Remove the fact it can be achieved from a Rank 8 Xyz Monster. While it was a nice option, it breaks the card beyond the point of which it is already broken. Doesn't need more then 3000 ATK, comes across as poor card design. The last effect... maybe it would be OKAY at Rank 9, but having two negation effects is too much. I would suggest keeping only one or the other, but this one is the more broke of the two negates, so perhaps replace this effect with something else entirely. Should be 9, I find it hard to count dem stars. C. Fair point, I forget how easy it is to summon Rank 8s. D. I feared as much. I really wasn't sure what a Rank 9 effect should consist of. I have another idea brewing, so I'm going to totally rethink this to be more balanced, and hopefully more creative too; card design wise. Thank you very much for confirming my fears. In a good way.
