Well, it is worded horrendously. I'll help ya:

"Equip only to a LIGHT monster. The equipped monster gains 500 ATK and DEF. When this card is destroyed: You can send 1 card in your hand to the Graveyard; put this card on top of your Deck."

Now, for the card itself, you may as well run Malevolent Nuzzler. It provides higher ATK boost, and has an easier return to topdeck effect. DEF raising Equip Spells are laughable, especially due to the fact players, if aiming to boost DEF, would simply use D2 Shield (and the card is cheap IRL, so even casual players would do such a thing). Overall, though, it suffers from what Equip Spells suffer: easy oppurtunities for your opponent to 2-4-1 you. Simply killing your monster leaves you down 2 cards, and the discard does nothing to aid this. If you have to discard, you could probably make this card return to the hand. Also, up the stat increases to atleast 800 (though competitively, it wouldn't be ran even at 1000 or more).
