This card can be summoned even if "March of the Monarchs" and/or "Unearthing of the Monarchs" are on the field."Monarch" monsters are considered Tribute Summoned if they are Normal Summoned or Special Summoned,This effect is negated if there are no XYZ Material with "Monarch" in its name.Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card to activate 1 effect based on the Material Detached:

WATER: You can target up to 4 Spell/Trap Cards on the field; destroy those targets.

WIND: Target up to 3 card(s) on the field; return that target(s) to the top of the Deck.

FIRE: Discard 1 random card from your opponent's hand. If it was a Monster Card, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its Level x 400.

TRAP: "Monarch" monsters can not be targeted or destroyed by Trap card effects.

SPELL: "Monarch" monsters can not be targeted or destroyed by Spell card effects.

EARTH: Target 3 cards on the field;destroy those targets. This card cannot attack directly during the turn it uses this effect.
