Zazubat
The original version I made for the 1v1 didn't go over so well it seems, so I remade it. Click the spoiler if you wish to see the original version. Monsters with Flare Counters lose 500 DEF for each colon in its card text. This card must be face-up to activate and to resolve this effect. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. [spoiler=Original] 2 Level 4 monsters During either player’s turn, when an Attack Position monster activated a monster effect: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target that monstere; negate the effect, then change that monster to Defense Position and put 1 Flare Counter on it (only 1 Flare Counter can be on that monster at a time). Monsters with Flare Counters lose 500 DEF for each colon in its card text. This card must be face-up to activate and to resolve this effect. The effect of “Pegasus Flare” can only be activated once per turn. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. Therrion
It is much more balanced and legit now then before, and still really deadly. It looks like a very good generic, easily able to exploit the weaker position/hold off attackers. The DEF Decrease is good and creative, but it worries me. What if the OCG moves past colons and just adopts some new OCG yet again? I don't believe they are, but I guess it doesn't really matter in YCM. Very good generic, would probably go to be a staple ran at 1.
