The card is nice in the fact that it can build up to score for some decent pluses all the while building a strong monster. The fact it needs to build up is fine, and not attacking directly was certainly an effect that needed to occur. A sword that equips to Spellcasters only intrigues me, as we've only ever seen greedy Warrior-Types hogging all the swords. The Dark Hole (Levia Dragon style) is a nice addition and can break a stall wall or just pave the way for whatever you Normal Summon afterwards to score some hits in. I don't believe it is unbalanced with the restrictions, build up, and the fact it is an Equip Card that doesn't build advantage (replace itself, draw cards, search, speed up strategies, etc. Effects usually on used Equips, like Wonder Wand, Supervise, etc.)

 

Though it is pretty crazy with Spellbooks, as the mod said, so perhaps change it up. Skipping the Battle Phase should help.

Well now it is certainly more balanced, only being able to +1 once per turn after some effort of using Spell Cards. The fact it is only your Spell Cards slows it down, but it is acceptable. The 800 ATK boost isn't all that much, but still a helpful boost so nice job there. It is much more balanced now then when it was a OTK inspiring card, as the mod said before deleting his post and I somehow skipped over.
