Blackwing Maiden

If this card you control on the field is destroyed, either by battle or by a card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Blackwing” monster from your Deck or hand. This effect of “Blackwing Maiden” can only be used once per turn.

EDIT: I know that you're suppose to say "Use THE effect of "Blackwing Maiden" once per turn" when it only has one, stop being nitpicky guys.

Blackwings are, first and foremost, an aggressive deck, so setting monsters, the primary way of triggering this, isn't exactly optimal for them.  

 

Although, it being a level 3 tuner for the deck has considerable merits on its own, further boosted by the fact that it is somewhat competent.

 

I suppose they'd use this as a relatively easy searcher for Shuras and possible Gales.

 

One thing I think would make it better would be to switch its stats, so that its effect goes off more easily and so that it can go on the aggressive if need be, because BWs are a very aggressive deck.

 

While I like the card, I think the name is complete shit.  It feels lazy and doesn't even follow the normal BW naming pattern.  Maybe, Blackwing- Luna the Maiden would work.

You could just attack something if you wanted to. About the name, I'll change it I suppose, reading the wikia, they're suppose to be about geographical elements, so I'll find something like that and use that.
