Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and Set 1 face-up Trap Card you control to activate 1 of the following effects; ● Draw 1 card. ● Set 1 Continuous Trap Card from your Graveyard to your side of the field. It cannot be activated this turn. ● Negate the effect of 1 face-up monster on the field, and banish it. The banished monster returns to the field during the End Phase in face-up Attack Position. 1800/1800
Zazubat
If I gave a good review, could you give me a like? It helps me out in the Review Board.Effect & Use: It's an interesting little monster for Trap Monsters to play around with. The fact that it can Set cards like Call of the Haunted again makes it very nice, along with the draw. The 2 main effects that most people are probably gonna use are the last 2 though, because it can make powerful combos, bringing back some of your lost Trap Monsters, along with plenty of useful other traps. The last effect can get over a lot of things. It's main use will be for Xyz Materials, taking away their material. It can get over pretty much anything, so unless your opponent has Imperial Iron Wall, they will have a hard time. But, it's balanced as it brings it back as well, and the cost to Set a Trap Card again can mess you up as well.Design: The rather weak body is somewhat supported by the no card effects destroy, though it will most likely be run over rather fast, making your need for other support rather important. It's effects are well balanced considering the cost for it, and that you will most likely run only Trap Monsters, it will be harder to pull its effect off that easily. However, since this can be used by any other Deck as well, it can provide a powerful way to get rid of guys for it not requiring any other material, and while it brings it back, it pretty much brings them back useless againts Xyzs. In this format, it's probably not that big of a deal, since Continuous Trap Cards arn't really played all that much, though it can help few Decks, such as Ninja who play with Rank 4s and Continuous Trap Cards. It's better in a Trap Monster Deck, but playable in others without breaking anything. Nice job I would sayFlavor & Image: Since it's written, no image here. I looked up what Tumatauenga was, and I get the connection between it, and the Tiki Archetype. Nothing else to really say here, makes sense.Overall: It's pretty decent for what it is. It provides Trap Monsters an interesting support, and has some good, well balanced effects. I don't think there's too much to really change here, even though some more DEF would be nice, so it could at least stand up to some monsters, though, that's really up to you. 8/10OCG fix: Hover your cursor over the word(s) with the dotted lines to read my reasons for the fixes. Make sure to hover over more than one one word, as it might put the things I have to say together with the dotted lines (or view it with BBcode turned off, just copy and paste it and click the switch in the control pannel). I do not repeat if you have made the flaw more than once, instead will it be bold (if any). Anything in italic is simple typos (if any). Anything in red means that it is something that is missing and should be there, as well as dotted lines to explain my reasoning/ask why you may have forgotten (if any). Also, if you have the time, check out my OCG Thread. 2 Level 4 monsters While you control a face-up Trap Card in a Monster Card Zone, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects.
