NOTE: This is my first post in Written cards. I was unaware there is a WC - Single and a WC - Multiples. Please go ahead and move this there. I apologize for the work I put onto you for not making sure in advance. It won't happen again.

 

 

 

Heroic Challenger - Chainmaster
[EARTH/L1/Warrior/Effect]
When this card is Summoned: You can send 1 "Heroic Challenger" from your Deck to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 Level 1 Heroic Challenger from your Deck or Graveyard, except "Heroic Challenger - Chainmaster". The effect of "Heroic Challenger - Chainmaster" can only be activated once per turn.
ATK/900 DEF/600

 

[spoiler=Design Notes] Well, it was made for Clasp Sword, obviously. It can send a Double Lance to the Graveyard, grab a Clasp, and have Clasp search a Double Lance, then go into a 2 Rank Xyz play. Even if not to set up Double Lance, this card is another way to use Clasp for searchs, and I made it from both the Deck and the Graveyard to minimalize the amount of space needed to put the two in an Heroic Deck (requires 1 Clasp, 3 of these and you got yourself a nice mini-Engine in Heroics!). An allstar in the Archetype, if I do say so myself. [/spoiler]

Heroic Champion - Calesvol
[EARTH/R1/Warrior/Xyz/Effect]
2 Level 1 Warrior-Type monsters
During the turn this card is Xyz Summoned: You can Normal Summon 1 Warrior-Type monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. You can only gain this effect once per turn. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; "Heroic" monsters you control gain 800 ATK.
ATK/1100 DEF/1000

 

[spoiler=Design Notes] To make Chain Master even better. Now you can Normal Summon that Double Lance and go into a Rank 4 play with it, adding a much needed push play into the Archetype. Then, it goes on to reward you if you go into a Heroic Champion, like Excalibur for a 4800 monster, or Gandiva for a play stopping 2900 beater. I wasn't sure if I should have the boost be permanent or until the end of your opponent's turn, but I decided on Perma considering the current state of the Archetype and to make this Rank 1 that much better (since Rank 1s suck atm). Heroic Entry!
[Quick Play Spell Card]
Activate only when a "Heroic" monster is Summoned. Add 1 "Heroic Challenger" from your Deck to your hand.

 

[spoiler=Design Notes] More search power! This can be triggered off any Summon, so you may have to consume your turns Normal Summon to even have a chance at triggering this, meaning you can't instantly use your searched card, unless you manage to trigger this off of a Special Summon, in which case rewards you for your efforts and allows you to Normal Summon that newly added card. There is never enough search power in an archetype (except Spellbooks, My God). [/spoiler]

 

Thoughts?

 

A side note, it wouldn't let me center the second and third cards, so I had to Left Align. "A Therrion post that isn't centered!?!?" Yes, sadly. It looks horrendous and is hurting my brain, to be honest.

Not sure Entry needs that restriction.  There's very few Heroic Challengers as it is, and one of the things that might boost their playability (despite the fact that Double Lance's nerf definitely hurt them) would be the consistency that they lack.  Might as well just make it so you can add a Heroic Challenger monster from your Deck to your hand, but not Summon a monster(s) with that same name during the turn you use it.  No point making it only when a monster is Summoned, it's way too situational.

Well there is Double Lance, any Xyz, Chainmaster, and the other Level 1 I forget the name of to do the Special Summoning, but I guess your right.

I might make it when one is Summoned: That way, you can trigger it from a Normal Summon, but that'd already take your Normal Summon for the turn OR you'd have to find a 3rd party way to trigger it and still have the Normal Summon remaining.
