yugiohmakermasta
Lore: If this this card reduces your opponents life points to 0 you win the match. Oncer per turn, you can either: equip this card OR Unequip this card from one face-up "Neko" monster card you control and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. While equipped by this effect that monster gains an extra 2000 ATK and DEF points. Once per turn, you can skip your draw phase to special summon one lvl 4 or lower "neko" monster card from your deck. So this is an unfinished archtype me and a friend started back in 2010, it never really took off. As you can see the card doesn't have a type nor does it have any others in the set. I feel like starting this up again, but I am uncertain what to do with it. any thoughts or suggestions on the card/eff would be nice.

VictorSempra
i got it now. slow computer. but still when the duel ends, there are no more turns right? im confused ^^ o Yu-Gi-Oh is generally played in a 2 out of 3 format. With cards like this, if you win one duel, you win all three. AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE EXISTING ONES IS BANNED. Not only is it a useless effect in the first place, but win conditions like that are highly frowned upon. Also: It's level five, with 3K/3K stats. I can't tell you how stupidly absurd those starts are, I can't even think of a level 8 that has both at 3K. The equip gain is also retardedly high, Equip cards don't even give more than 1K (Except Mage Power, but we don't talk about that.) The only part of this card I REMOTELY like is the Phase-skip to summon a level 4 neko, that's the only likeable thing about this card. Good day to you sir. Syncopation
There are 3 things wrong with this card, that if fixed, it might make the card great(this depends on how you fix it).: 1. It's stats(A/D) is too high. And the fact that it is a lvl 5 monster dosen't help either. A lvl 5 effect monster should have A/D at least less than 2400. So you could either A. Lower this card's attack B. Raise this card's level to like 10 or C. Give it a HUGE negative effect/summoning condition. 2. It is a match winner. Match winners are banned upon release. This effect is both stupid and broken. It will be better off erased. Plus, the match winning effect doesn't even sync well with it's other effects. Speaking of... 3. It's equip effect is op'ed. Though the attack gain this card provides isn't as high as per say "Mage Power", "United We Stand", or "ZW- Lion Arms"; it is still to high of an attack gain. Make the attack gain like no more than 1000. Or you can erase both the match winning and the equip effect and just keep the last effect. That effect is actually pretty awesome. If your planning to post anymore cards here, please keep things like this in mind.

It's like a curse. as for the first eff I am now thinking its not such a great eff to have, I may replace it with a summoning condition of some kind which will make the atk and def okay. The equip effect I personally think its fine. Thanks for the feedback.

The equip effect I personally think its fine. Thanks for the feedback. The only thing that would make that attack/defense remotely okay is a level of 9 or 10. And whether you personally think it's fine, it's fucking broken by any standard of Yugioh. I HATE when people argue that their card is fine after asking for help. You want something realistic? Better listen up.
Althemia
Match winners are not realistic, as they are designed to literally just be "rewards" for the most part and are not allowed to be used in actual duels. As a result, this is unrealistic. Moved to Any Other Cards.
