Once per turn: detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and target 1 monster your opponent controls.  During your Battle Phase, take control of that monster until the end of the Battle Phase.  It cannot declare an attack and is returned to your opponent's side of the field during the end of the Battle Phase.  When control of that monster switches to your opponent's side of the field, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half of that monster's ATK.  While this card has Xyz Materials during the End Phase where you did not perform your Battle Phase: inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each "Gimmick Puppet" monster in your Graveyard.

 

It's still gimmicky, but it happens to be amazing as well.
