I don't think it is so much overpowered. It is a two sacrifice and if you use its effect, it gets destroyed at the end of the turn. I think it is a fine card.

i use both, sometimes i forget the new and sometimes the old so i dont depend on 1 of them lol. but i mainly try to keep the cards having the new lore.

You can also Special Summon it without tributes? This means you can just Normal Summon another monster. Then it's very overpowered because it could be used for anything, like even tribute fodder for your Monarchs!
