TX James
Some thoughts on this random card please guys Lore: This card can only be Special Summoned from your Hand. You must send all monsters you currently control to the Graveyard and pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon this card. While this face up card is in attack position: negate the effects of all Trap cards. While this face up card is in defence position: negate the effects of all Spell cards. DisturbedNeo
I like this mostly. It's different. The artwork, the name, the type, the unusual ATK/DEF numbers. It all kind of comes together to make a truly unique card. Its ATK could actually be considered a it low for a level 7, but I'm assuming that's because of the effect. As for the effect itself, I don't think it should be able to negate ALL spells. I know it means your own spells aswell, but if you go and take a look at existing cards, you find something interesting. Royal Decree: "Negate all other Trap Cards on the field." No cost. Easy to play. Unlimited. Imperial Order: "Negate all Spell Card effects on the field. During each of your Standby Phases, pay 700 Life Points or destroy this card." Life Point cost every Standby Phase. Also fairly easy to play. And yet, Banned. Why? Because it negates Spell Cards. The only other thing I'll mention is the "EN-XXX". There are supposed to be 4 letters on the left hand side of the dash, which represent the pack the card is released in (i.e "ROCK"). There are then 2 letters and 3 numbers on the right hand side of the dash, which represent the language and number of the card in the pack (i.e "EN001") I want to love this card, I really do. But I'm afraid I have to give it an 8.5/10 It loses 1/2 a point for the slight issue with the "EN-XXX" thing and also 1 point for the last line of its effect. Other than those two issues, this card is almost perfect. It is at least original and interesting. Personally, I love it, but I have to be critical. BoricuaBeast
Ok, here's what i think: The effect is not bad, but its just too abusable, no? You can have a decree active and this thing in defense and you got a near complete lockdown. Here's what I would text it (you made some OCG errors too): "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand by sending all monsters you control to the Graveyard and paying 1000 life points. While this card remains face-up on the field, you can activate the folloeing effects based on this card's battle position: *Attack position: You can discard 1 card to negate the activation of an opponent's Spell Card and destroy it *Defense position: You can send the top 2 cards of your deck to the Graveyard to negate the activation of an opponent's Trap card and destroy it." This to me seems more appropriate. If you were to have a universal negater, you'd rather use LaDD (light and Darkness Dragon) or Herald of perfection. On top of that, this card is way too easy to summon, so nerfing the effect a bit seems appropriate
