magemeek22
Okay, I'll divide my review into four sections: Artwork and OCG, Effect Usability, Balance, Overall Playability
The artwork on your card is, well, to say it in the least offensive way possible, pretty mediocre. Too sketchy and realistic for a YGO card. I understand that you're trying to make the title (Schizophrenia) match the art, but there are some art pieces that you simply shouldn't use; sorry, but I believe that this is one of those pieces. As far as OCG is concerned, I think its pretty good. Its cohesive and understandable, though there are undeniable errors (for example, "It's" should be "Its"). Also, the phrasing of the initial part of the effect should be changed so that "following effects:" directly precedes the three bonus effects.

Okay, I'll discuss each of the parts of your effect in depth here. When an opponent Special Summons a monster you can pay 500 Life Points to use one of the following effects. If you Special Summon any monsters, destroy this card and add any "Mind Split" card from your deck to your hand. Okay, this part of the effect is pretty self-explanatory. Adding a "Mind Split" card from your Deck to your hand, however, isn't really possible (since no such cards exist). Maybe you made an archetype or something, but in this case, its a useless effect. I like that the card self-destructs, since it counterbalances the fact that you can chain to ANY special summon your opponent conducts by paying only 500 Life Points. Bonus Effect 1: Target an opponent's face-up monster. It's effects are negated and it cannot be tributed. Woah woah woah woah woah. 500 Life Points and you make their monster a beatstick and nothing more? This is an extreme case of flawed design. The cost is so minimal and the effect so beneficial - something's wrong here. However, this portion of my review refers to usability, and in this case, only a fool wouldn't run this card JUST for this effect in their Deck. Bonus Effect 2: Change the position of an opponent's monster. It's position cannot be changed. Woah woah woah woah woah. 500 Life Points and its stuck in Defense Mode for the rest of the duel? That's pretty harsh, but once again, immensely useful. Bonus Effect 3: Negate the summon and banish one card from your opponent's Graveyard. Woah woah woah woah woah. SUPER OVERPOWERED. Solemn Judgment and Solemn Warning are limited for a reason; negating summons is a STRONG effect. With this card, you can negate all their Special Summons while depleting their Graveyard! Sure, its useful, but its sooooo powerful.

Okay, so now we get down to business. First of all, the cost; 500 Life Points for the effects that you created is NOTHING. With the three bonus effects you made, I'd just keep spending Life Points. This card could easily negate 10-15 Special Summons - thats enough for you to Normal Summon your way to victory, one turn at a time. We're talking major reworking here, bud. You could increase the cost exponentially (4000 Life Points, discard 2-3 cards, skip your next turn) or rework the bonus effects; I favor the latter option. The bonus effects you have are just too good, especially the summon negator. The first effect should be made to only last until the End Phase so that your opponent's monster isn't completely useless. My recommendation: "Target the Summoned monster; its effects are negated until the End Phase." The second bonus effect is pretty decent; battle position changes are good, but NOT when they're permanent. My recommendation: "Change the battle position of the Summoned monster; its battle position cannot be changed until your opponent's next End Phase." And finally, the third bonus effect. This one needs MAJOR REWORKING. Perhaps something along the lines of: "Banish the Summoned monster until your opponent's Standby Phase." Even with the changes I mentioned, the cost would have to be raised to a minimum of 1200 Life Points. The fact that the card is destroyed when you Special Summon is okay, but that doesn't do much if you don't rely on Special Summoning. And with a card like this, why WOULD you Special Summon?

Well, there's not much to say here. The card is extremely playable and useful, but then again, if it were ever a card, it'd be banned immediately, so there's not much room to play it.
My Rankings: Artwork/OCG: 5/10 Effect Usability: 10/10 Balance: 1/10 Overall Playability: either 0/10 (if banned immediately) or 10/10 (if limited) YOU NEED REWORKING. IT'S TOO POWERFUL. Here's my edited version: If you Special Summon any monsters, destroy this face-up card and add 1 "Mind Split" card from your Deck to your hand. When an opponent Special Summons a monster, you can pay 2000 Life Points to use one of the following effects: Target the Summoned monster; its effects are negated until the End Phase. Change the battle position of the Summoned monster; its battle position cannot be changed until your opponent's next End Phase. Banish the Summoned monster until your opponent's Standby Phase. Even that may be too powerful, but its a start.
