GiloniC
Picture name: "Raptor" - by "NickShev" - deviantart - http://www.deviantart.com/art/Raptor-97418219 This card gains one of the following effects depending on the way it is summoned: - Normal Summon: Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Dinosaur-Type Monster you control. It can make a second attack during this turn's Battle Phase. - Flip Summon: You can Special Summon 1 Dinosaur-Type Monster from your hand. - Special Summon: You can banish this card to skip the Draw Phase of your opponent's next turn. Thoughts on balance and strategy: I wanted this card to be a little bit "snowbally" by either summon more Dinosaur-Monsters with Flip Summon (maybe for some XYZ?) or hindering the opponent to get out of a difficult situation by not letting him conduct his Draw Phase with Special Summon. Of course the Normal Summon-Effect isn't that strong since it's the easiest way to summon a Monster-Card. ;) I know, effects that skip the opponent's next Draw Phase can be very broken (like Time Seal), so I wanted to make activating the effect a little bit more difficult, but not underpowered. I don't know how strong it really is combined with other cards, but we'll probably see. The picture doesn't look ideal, but it's provisional atm (composed it with my poor Gimp skills), I'll try to find a better, Yu-Gi-Oh-like looking one in the future. "-" is used instead of "•" because "•" doesn't appear on the card for some reason. :/ So yeah what are your thoughts about my first try? Criticism and suggestions for improvement are welcome of course. :)
Sora1499
The effect it gains when it's Normal Summoned is kinda mediocre. A 1300 double attacker, big whoop. I'd add to that effect "This card gains 500 ATK". The Flip Summoned effect is alright, making easy Rank 4s or Synchros (lookin at you, Laggia), although the problem being that flip summoning is too slow. That's the way the ball rolls I guess. I don't like the Special Summon effect one bit. It's on an already existing card, which, might I add, is banned. This effect is a slippery slope, since if you can SS it, you probably have some form of advantage, and then you get to increase your advantage even more by sealing off your opponent's next draw. I'd change the SS effect entirely.

I'd change the SS effect entirely. Buffed its Normal Summon effect, I hope it's not too strong now. Second, I wanted it to be a Flip Summon effect because then it could be combined with cards like Book of Moon, Book of Taiyou or Tsukuyomi (or even maybe Sauropod Brachion which would lead to a nice Dinosaur swarming synergy?). :D And yeah, I expected the impact of the third effect to be like that. I changed it, so it isn't Spell Speed 1 anymore (to make cards like Bottomless Trap Hole work, also increased the ATK for that) and banishing the card will also balance it a little bit more since you can't activate the Special- and Flip Summon effect anymore with cards I already mentioned above. I didn't remove the whole effect because I really want the effect to be like that. By the way, I searched for a monster that does have the same effect, but I couldn't find one. :I Very interesting card and i have few cards like that ok now Art 6/10 u need another picture but if you want this its not a problem ;) Balance 7.8/10 bit op but still good card Playability 10/10 i like that Effect 9/10 i like it too Ocg 6/10 just fix that dinosaier Overall 8.75/10 pretty satisfying card and good to cary out @ art: Yeah, it's pretty difficult to find/make good pictures for Dinosaur Yu-Gi-Oh cards because I suck at all that gfx-stuff. @ balance: I fixed some effects to make it a bit more balanced. @ playability & effect: Thanks. :) @ ocg: Whoops, I accidentally used the German word for Dinosaur which is Dinosaurier, lol. @ overall: Nice to hear that, I'm a big fan of Dinosaurs so I tried to make a more diverse card. So yeah thank you very much for your reviews. =)
Sora1499
That's cuz the effect is on a trap card called Time Seal. The effect looks better now though.

GiloniC
I finally managed to find an adequate picture for this card. Looks much better now imo. Also: Bump. It would be very nice to see some more reviews. :)
