I still have a few images I haven't used yet, but they looked super cool, so I'm using them for singles now. Here's another one:

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. During your Standby Phase, if this card exists in your Graveyard: You can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spell Card in your hand to Special Summon 1 monster in either player's Graveyard. When this card leaves the field: You can add 1 Spell Card from your deck to your hand.

I like it, but I'm no OCG official. The one thing I do currently not like all too much is the built-in Monster Reborn. I mean, I get that you have to discard to activate t, but the monster remains permanently and that seems like it could get really broken, especially considering this card isn't exactly weak, and killing it already lets you search Reborn. I'd give it a 5/10; it's nice, but the balance is dangerously on the side of gamebreaking to me.

Actually, I did the "Monster Reborn" effect precisely because of the Ankh in the image. ^^;

That's also precisely the reason why I made it specifically to discard a spell card. The spell card is taking the place of "Monster Reborn". And this monster can only be special summoned. But I'll change the effects if others think it's much too OP.

I understand the link to Monster Reborn, it's just that MR is a nightmare we can deal with in a duel. The thought of one that can work every turn... *sobs*

Nah, I'm just kidding about it being that OP. Hopefully someone else will review this; these boards move slowly.

The card is overpowered. It's easy to retrieve from the graveyard, and then, when it is destroyed again, pick up another Spell Card, and so on and so forth. The power to turn any card in your hand into Monster Reborn is a bit ridiculous, and, if the card is still alive next turn, it's easy to get a strong monster you just discarded out on to the field.

I like the concept, but I think it would need a revamp before it becomes a fair card.

Taking those into account, I edited the effect a bit:

When this card leaves the field: You can pay 800 Life Points; add 1 Spell Card from your deck to your hand.

  • If you’re building a deck containing this card, this deck must have a lot of spell cards that you won’t use. Adding 20 spell cards maxima to the deck will make you use this effect about  10 times. If you haven’t got this card from the first draw, you’ll need to use some of your spell cards to add this card to your hand , also you’ll use another spell card so you can discard it to your graveyard. You’ll waste a lot of cards. Btw , that’s if your opponent didn’t negate the effect of your cards.
  • If your opponent has got a high attack monster, you’ll be losing about 1800 LP each turn, and that’s about ¼ of your LP.

Card's effect: 55

Card's balance: 48

Atk & Def: 18

*OVERALL: 5.4/10*

Suggested effect:

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard: You can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon this card in face-up Defence Position. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster in your Graveyard; send 1 spell card from your hand to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon that target.
