Hey Konami, make Insect-type support please

Unassuming Local Snail

Level 3

EARTH

Insect/Effect

ATK 500/DEF 1500

When this card is Summoned: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; while this card is face-up on the field, target cannot declare an attack, activate its effects (and has its effects negated) and cannot be used for the Summon of a monster.  When this card is removed from the field: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-type Monster from your Graveyard.

Bug Breeding

Normal Spell Card

Activate while you control a face-up Insect-type monster.  Add 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-type monster from your Deck to your hand.  That card cannot activate its effects this turn.

Hive Nest

Field Spell Card

All Insect-type monsters gain 400 ATK.  Cards in both player's Graveyards are unaffected by monster effects.  Once per turn: you can Tribute 1 Insect-type monster you control; Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck with the same name as the Tributed monster.

Snail can create an infinite loop just by himself, so add an "except" clause. Otherwise, he is pretty nice. Nice reward for Normal Summoning a 500 ATK monster, though I can't say I like how much he does. Perhaps an ATK decrease rather than not attacking whatsoever would be more prefered, and by ATK decrease, I mean about 1,000. Either way though, solid card and nice for Synchro Summons.

Breeding is very nice, balanced RotA that should never get banned by the amount of conditions slapped onto it. Nice job here, a very much welcomed support card to the type.

Nest has a decent sized boost with a nice effect to boot. Nice combo with Snail, little cutesy thing going on there. Maybe make it have a "The effect of "Hive Nest" can only be activated once per turn." clause, but really doesn't matter (I like the combo power of it). It would be amazing in Inzektor if Dragonfly wasn't limited (though Centipede can still blow up with Hornet, add a card, and go for round 2 burst and search).

Overall, nice cards. The last one is a bit abuseable in Inzektor, but there isn't really anything wrong with a card that ups the competitiveness of a deck (though, some decks are just unfair and Inzektor was one of them). As you said, though, Type Support is hard to do due to Konami and their overpowering of a single archetype within the Type.
