K0VIP3R
As this is my first archetype, I've gone with a more straight forward concept on this. The archetype is called "Corrupt" (Any better names for it would be welcome) The Archetype itself centers around Card Destruction so a majority of effects involve Cards either being destroyed or discarded and the real strength in this Archetype is eliminating defenses rather than over powering other players. I've tried my best making the costs seem more severe to the Archetype itself. Cards in the graveyard do not really benefit it and removing cards from play eliminate a lot of problems this Archetype causes. Also any cards that nullify attacks do also damage this archetype. Anyway, enough talk. Time to judge the cards themselves. I'm open to harsh criticism so don't hold back if you feel they aren't up to scratch. Lore : When this card destroys an opponents monster in battle, you can discard one "Corrupt" monster from your hand to increase your life points by half the original attack of the destroyed monster. Lore : When this card is destroyed in battle and sent to the graveyard, activate one of the following effects: -Your opponent must randomly send one card from their hand to the graveyard. -Special Summon one level three or lower "Corrupt" monster from your deck in face up attack position. Lore : Once per turn you can pay 500 life points to destroy one face up monster your opponent controls that has 2000 ATK points or less. Lore : When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, your opponent takes damage equal to half the attacking monsters attack points. Lore : You can tribute this monster to negate the activation of an opponents spell card and destroy that card. Lore : During your Main Phase, you can discard one card from your hand to destroy one face down monster your opponent controls. Lore : When your opponent activates a spell / trap card, you can select one "Corrupt" monster in your graveyard and remove it from play to negate the activation of the spell / trap card and destroy it. This effect can only be used once per turn. Lore : By tributing one face "Corrupt" monster on your side of the field, your opponent must randomly discard one card from his / her hand. This ability can only be used once per turn. Lore : When this card successfully destroys a face up monster by battle, you can destroy one spell / trap card your opponent controls. Lore : When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, they must either: -Discard one card from their hand Or -Send the top card of their deck to the graveyard. Lore : You can discard this card from your hand to add one "Corrupt Kingdom" to your hand and then shuffle your deck. Lore : This card can not be destroyed by battle. When this card is attacked, destroy the attacking monster. When this effect activates you lose 500 life points. Lore: When this card is successfully flip summoned, you can special summon one "Corrupt Paladin" or "Corrupt Knight" from your hand. The summoned monster can not attack the turn it is summoned. Lore: This card cannot be normal / special summoned unless the "Corrupt Kingdom" field spell is in play. When this card is face up on the field, you do not suffer the effects of "Corrupt Kingdom". When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent life points, destroy one face monster card on your opponents side of the field. Lore: This card cannot be normal / special summoned unless the "Corrupt Kingdom" field spell is in play. When this card is face up on the field, you do not suffer the effects of "Corrupt Kingdom". When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent life points, destroy one face down spell / trap card on your opponents side of the field. Lore: 1 "Corrupt" tuner + 1 or more "Corrupt" non-tuner monsters. Once per turn you can tribute one "Corrupt" monster to destroy one face up monster on your opponents side of the field and inflict damage equal to half of the monster attack points. If "Corrupt Kingdom" is in play, your opponent takes damage equal to the attack of the destroyed monster. Lore: 1 "Corrupt tuner + 1 or more "Corrupt" non-tuner monsters. This card can only attack when "Corrupt Kingdom" is in play. If this card destroys a monster in battle it can attack once again in a row. If this card battles a monster, your opponent will not take any battle damage. Lore: Both players cannot activate monster effects. All "Corrupt" monsters gain 500 ATK points. If either player takes battle damage they must discard one card from their hand to the graveyard. Lore: Tribute two "Corrupt" monsters. Destroy all face up attack position monsters on the field. Lore: Pay 1000 life points. Return up to five "Corrupt" monsters to your deck from your graveyard and then shuffle your deck. Lore: Tribute one "Corrupt" monster then designate one face up monster your opponent controls. That monster is removed from play during the End Phase. Lore: This card can count as 2 tributes for the tribute summon of a "Corrupt" monster. Lore: When this card is used in a synchro summon for a "Corrupt" synchro monster, you can select one card on the field and destroy that card. Lore: 1 "Corrupt" tuner + 1 or more "Corrupt" non-tuner monsters. When this card is synchro summoned, you can destroy as many of your opponents spell / trap cards as there was synchro material monsters. Lore: While this card is in the graveyard you can remove this card from play to add one LVL 3 or lower "Corrupt" monster from your deck to your hand. Lore: This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by removing from play one "King of Corruption" and one "Queen of Corruption". When this card is special summoned, destroy all face down cards on the field. By removing from play one "Corrupt" monster from your graveyard you can special summon one "Corrupt" monster from your hand, deck or graveyard. Lore: When an opponents monster is destroyed by the effect of a "Corrupt" monster you can tribute one "Corrupt" monster to summon the destroyed monster to your side of the field. If the monster is removed from the field, destroy this card. If this card is destroyed, send the monster to your opponents graveyard. Lore: This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by removing from play two level 6 or higher "Corrupt" monsters. When this card is successfully special summoned, add one "World of Corruption" to your hand from your deck. When this card destroys a monster, you can discard 2 cards from your hand to take control of that monster until the End Phase of your next turn. Lore: This card can only be activated when "Source of Corruption" is on the field. All non-"Corrupt" monsters lose 500 ATK and DEF points. When a "Corrupt" monster is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, you can pay 500 life points to special summon that card back to the field in face up defense position. I am also open to any ideas of other cards to add to the archetype or card effects. I'm still working on this despite the number of cards I have already. K0VIP3R
euhm... just gow manhy C-squires are there... Nicely made so far, pretty well done ^_^ I had a glitch where the same picture just repeated itself, which I just rectified. If you'd take another look the you should be able to get a gist of the cards better now.
Darthakin
Alright, much better. I have a question; why the name "corrupt?
K0VIP3R
I was originally planning on going with "Chaos" as the overarching name for them. But not only was it more generic, it also was used by other monsters that didn't fit the theme of the Archetype. So using the internet I found a name that was firstly evil sounding and was not used much if at all by Konami. Although the name does suggest more a zombie-like theme to be honest. cody hall
Pretty cool archetype. The grammar is a bit off/inconsistent, but besides that, I have no complaints

Darthakin
"corrupt" really suggests somethign like the Malefic cards; or rather, taking control of opponent's monsters

I was implying the graveyard. I'll fix that as soon as possible.
