New XYZ Mechanic: Preserver of Power, Cruxia

This is just an interesting mechanic I came up with; basically, I was wondering if XYZ Monsters could act simply as protective guards. For example, if you swarm the field or have two valuable monsters that you want to protect for next turn, could an XYZ Monster help you do that? Well, here's my consensus: it sure as hell can! The card I created, Preserver of Power Cruxia, does exactly that; it has no ATK or DEF, but it can protect your monsters (if they are the same level) until your next turn. However, this may be too powerful if spammed, so I added a "Once per duel" clause to the monster's Summon. That should balance it out, I hope.

2 or more Monsters of the same Level

When this card leaves the field, banish all of the XYZ Materials that were attached to this card. During your next Standby Phase, Special Summon as many of those banished cards as possible. Each player can only Summon 1 "Preserver of Power, Cruxia" per Duel.

I can not suggest a specific change as it works with a lot of cards, but IMO the only bad thing about her is the need for you to ram/trigger her yourself, otherwise it will just take space until the opponent is ready to get rid of her. Work on that. Still, even then, she might not be that playable. Just because her use is to evade stuff, but other extra deck cards can get rid of the same stuff.

If, as you say, she might not be that playable, then should I remove the "once per duel" clause? I mean, the intention with this card was to protect valuable monsters that you plan to use next turn. For example, in the awfully slow non-spellbook spellcaster decks, protecting exemplar and another level 4 spellcaster would be preferable over XYZ Summoning say, Utopia. I can imagine that if you run a generally slow Deck or one that plans to fulfill certain combos later on, this card would be immensely useful in stalling and holding off. As far as your other criticism goes (The fact that you have to destroy her yourself before your opponent figures out a way to do it), I thought that was countered by my using of the conditional "When this card leaves the field". This way, her effect WILL be triggered regardless of whatever your opponent tries; even if they return her to your Extra Deck, her effect will still activate. So I'm not too concerned about having to trigger her effect on my own; its almost guaranteed that one way or another, it will be triggered.

I want to say it again, card is fine as is. I just think it should be more playable, that is it.

What I ment was the timing, your opponent would only rid of her if they can kill you that turn or they don't mind/can stop her effect, which will be the case almost always. So I think she would be better if she is more controllable or perhaps annoying.

And IDK about the OPD clause, the card is iffy.

Hoping this helps.
