This card is unaffected by card effects of a player that doesn't control a FIRE monster. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy 1 monster on the field, then inflict damage to your opponent equal to half that monster's original ATK.

 

The first sentence is different from the card to the effect posted below, so go ahead and comment which is better.

 

[spoiler=Design Notes] Pretty simple this time around. Looking at the Elemental Lords, the Elemental Gods are essentially Rank 8, improved versions of them. Pyrorex does he stuff upon Summon, whereas this guy has a Pleadias-esque approach that only hurts the opponent. The first sentence will hold true to all Elemental Gods I decide to make, which won't be many (maybe doing the two weakest, FIRE and WIND, since I have pictures for both). Wanted a good Rank 8 option if Fire King Avatar actually one day wanted to give a Garunix for something, and figured this power level was pretty acceptable.[/spoiler]
