WhyDidIJoinThis-.-
Hey all, I was really sceptical about making this card, the idea came to me just a few minutes ago, I quickly whipped up a picture in paint(.net) program and here it is. I'm kinda making a dragon deck at the moment and it relies mostly on monsters and their effects, with a few magic cards to boost them. I just wanted to see what kind of reaction this card would get, I know it could be considered "broken" but I tried to balance it a bit, and it can still be destroyed by a monsters effect of course, and you could even lose the duel for yourself due to this card. And I also know that there are a few decks/cards out there that rely on bringing back banished cards, and that could be a way to counter this card also. I would really appreciate any help with this card to make it better, and maybe less OP. But the only things I could think of doing would be to either change banish to send to graveyard, and/or make the damage taken less. I really want to make this card work if possible, and I know there's some way this could be put into place/fixed.

This card's effect cannot be negated by any Spell & Trap cards. When this card is activated, both players gain 2000 Life Points and Banish all Spell & Trap cards they control (except this card) and that they have in their hands. Each time a Spell or Trap card is drawn, Banish that card and inflict 500 Life Points to the player that drew the card.
:^)
Trap Field Cards are not Realistic. They would belong in Any Other Cards. Effect Fix & Balancing This card's effect cannot be negated by any Spell & Trap cards. When this card is activated, both players gain 2000 Life Points and Banish all Spell & Trap cards they control (except this card) and that they have in their hands. Each time a Spell or Trap card is drawn, Banish that card and inflict 500 Life Points to the player that drew the card. Okay, this card is beyond broken, however when it is initially activated, I guess you could chain MST to destroy it, because as we know, MST does not negate, it destroys. It is too broken and if it were real would be Forbidden instantly because of the ridiculousness of setting this first turn then activating it during your opponent's Standby Phase. I shall do my best to fix it within your suggestions, and thankyou for the help, maybe I could make another card required to play this? Would that be possible? Also- I changed to continuous, and changed the effect to that you suggested, and also added a spoiler for the lore.
:^)
The card is just too good, it basically ruins everything people can be working towards. It's a game breaker at best, it's a card like Exodia, you opponent uses Duality or something and you see it, and you don't want to verse them anymore. WhyDidIJoinThis-.-
What if I made its effect negatable? Or changed banished to graveyard?

Or changed banished to graveyard?
Make it negatable? Yes. Its best to leave that to cards like super poly and spiritualism. The card, as stated by Multiloquent, is too broken, even with the effect fix ( can't really say too much as I don't know what the original was). I have an idea on how to make it balanced without messing up the concept. "Monster effects cannot be activated in response to this card's activation. When this card is activated, increase both player's life points by 1000, then destroy all other Spell & Trap cards you control. Once per turn during your opponent's Main Phase, when your opponent sets a card in ther Spell & Trap card zone, you can pay 800 life points: flip that card face-up, then discard 1 card of the same type as the revealed card and banish that target. While this card remains face-up on the field, you cannot activate Spell Cards. You must pay 800 life points during each of your Standby Phases or destroy this card. Look at the card in the first post, the original effect is still there.
