Rock Support

Here's just some rock support I came up with. I know some of the older Rock Monsters are absurdly high in Level, like the Sphinxes, and I figured that this card would help add some unique plays and tecs. Plus, it could work with the higher level Chronomolies and even the EARTH Monarch. Just a thought, but here it is:

 

During either player's turn, when a face-up Rock-type monster(s) you control is Tributed, you can discard 1 card; Special Summon the Tributed Rock-type monster(s) from your Graveyard to your side of the field in face-down Defense Position.

Seems legit, kinda balanced, nice image, I'd use it - If I used a rock deck of course. It gave me an idea btw, I know it's not much related, but it made me think of Metamorphic, Igneous, and Sedimentary rock types, if you wanna know more I'll pm you if you like, or I could just put it here, whatever you'd prefer, but the card on the whole, I like it.

To be completely honest though, I don't use the Rock Archetype often; I just know from my experience with Chronomoly and Sphinx cards, as well as looking through the DN database, that there are a lot of high level cards that are pretty difficult to summon. Thus, I figure that this card could help the out of date Decks come up with some new and improved summon engines and stuff. However, I really don't plan on making more cards based on Rock monsters in particular, so I'm sorry to decline your offer of a rock-cycle-based card set. Regardless, I appreciate your review a lot!

 Yeah I don't either, probably because I just have loads of cards I got when I was little, and I don't use anything else but cards I actually own to use on DN :P But yeah, it sounds like a rather thoughtfull card to make ^-^ And no problems.
