NEW Red-Eyes Deck

Recommended Posts

For Red-Eyes Dark Rock dragon I only have 2 problems: First it says you can summon it from the hand or deck and I think it would be more fair if it was just the hand (making it more about luck) or if you wanted to make it easier to summon add some card that searches for it. Secondly the effect at the end, you might want to re-word unless you wanted it to not resolve while facedown. Your opponents monsters lose 300 atk for each face-down defence position card you control. Apart from that it is a pretty good card.

Red-Eyes Gargoyle No complaints just a note, doesn't it just do the same as D.D crow except only in your graveyard and only for dragon types (unsure if crow works in either grave though) But yeh no complaints.

Red-Eyes Mauler Since it's a gemini you need to write the gemini explanation at the start. Also it's first effect is good maybe lower it to only level 5. Second effect let's it be banished by anything and konami only has D.D survivor and D.D scoutplane for a reason so maybe change to just when banished by a dragon monster or a red-eyes card.

Red-Eyes Nightmare Dragon Same as mauler you have to write the spirit explanation at the start but apart from that no complaints.

Red-Eyes Mega Nightmare Dragon No complaints just wording: Spirit explanation, you say choose when proper term is select and also you need to write when this card is destroyed by battle instead of when this card is destroyed because what if it was destroyed during the mainphase.

Red-Eyes Shadow Storm Dragon Again no complaints just wording. First effect should say If this card is attacked, Set the attacking monster (At the end of the damage step) (not 100% certain on that wording actually but it seems right). Again we say Select instead of Choose. Second line should read When this card destroys an opponents monster by battle, select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls and set it. Lastly the third line should read If this card would be destroyed and sent to the graveyard it is special summoned to the opponents side of the field (you decide what mode it's in, or say if the player or opposing player chooses which mode).

Very fair archetype support almost too fair not as powerful as the other Red-Eyes cards and 2 are based around face down which isn't really relevant to the Red-Eyes archetype but it kind of suits the whole dark attribute thing. Good Job looking forward too new updates.

Why is dark rock dragon light? that seems arbitrary Dark rock, and Gargoyle seem fine although they kinda go against dragons in general, who have high attack, low defense I.e, Blue eyes 3000/2500 Red eyes 2400/2000 thousand dragon 2400/2000. etc besides from that, I really like this card, like a XYZ or syncro monster but not OP as shit. Mauler, Nightmare, Mega nightmare, and storm are all so very weak, and need to be buffed. or at least reworked to have high defense and low attack to match red eyes dark rock dragon. perhaps you can make a new archetype called drake or something to fit this theme?

Acid dragon is too weak, make it at least 2400, for a vanilla card

Battle rage seems really cool, maybe op, maybe not, I like it.

creeping darkness is the ultimate D.D card and on off chances makes light monsters that try and activate their effect chill in the spell and trap zone instead to take it up forever and have no way of ever getting out, or re summoned :S?

dragon slayer is one sacrifice for a 1700 monster that could get to 1900 for another sacrifice, and dies if you have to many dragons, this card is like a -5 in terms of cost needs to be reworked. or gain like 1000 damage for the sac

Dragons pit should probably only be one or two turns, pretty interesting card, maybe 500 damage since you are walling and can't attack (missread this as you can't attack change this to one turn as its a better threatening roar)

Drygan- this cards secondary effect is countered by it's first, and then it loses damage to boot, it probably does not need to lose damage and should probably just flip them to face down defense when it attacks (since it does piercing and dragons have low defense) and make them lose attack when they attack it (or else it is a never ending wall against dragons Ie DNA surgery dragon type, nothing can attack this card, even when it hits 0 all cards still go face down defense when they attack it.)

Red Ragon is only 2800 with 3 other dragons on the field, seems steep since busterblader is 2600 base, and gains 500 against a dragon deck (when this card would also shine) perhaps give it 1k per, I mean goblin king does that for no sacrifices, I like its extra effect

Smoke dragon is endless lockdown, you always keep them face down, and when this card does have to go facedown, you can attack with whatever monsters you set up, then flip this card face up again to lock down

solem dragon, seems a little weak, maybe 1700 attack?

solem wyrm, like this card seems cool and interesting

Solem Hydra seems to easy to summon, maybe you have to banish them or something? like the rest of its effect really cool card
