Nicο
Time for a not so bad but unsure if I can pull off idea. When making Pokemon YGO cards, I now figure that I should make at least the ones that will have Mega Evolutions Xyz monsters, so I can then choose to mega evolve them by Rank Up. Seems like a decent idea, but there are some things I want to know, including whether the cards are right enough to not need to change the kind of materials needed. Blastoise is the only one so far that doesn't need specific materials, because well, I don't think enough level 5 WATER or Reptile monsters are good for Xyzing but I could just be wrong on everything. Not like I really need to think about real cards, but I kind of am and probably end up sucking because of it. At least in this particular case, I'm pretty sure.
2 Level 4 EARTH monsters This card is also treated as a Plant-Type monster. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; it cannot declare an attack until the opponent's next End Phase. During either players End Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; target 2 face-up monsters on the field. Halve the ATK of 1 monster, and if you do, add that lost ATK to the other monster.

2 Level 6 Winged-Beast-Type monsters When this card attacks: Flip a coin. If Heads: The battled monster loses 800 DEF (after damage calculation). Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy 1 face-up and/or face-down card on the field. (because attacking to lower just ATK after Damage Calculation doesn't make any sense for any reason whatsoever and Poke burn shenanigans seems more like a weaken the monster thing than YGO burn)

2 Level 5 monsters This card gains 200 DEF during each of your Standby Phases. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; revert all your monster's ATK, DEF, and effects to normal, and all face-up Spell/Trap Cards are sent to the Graveyard.

2 Level 8 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; activate 1 of the following effects: -This turn: This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. -Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls: This card's effect becomes that monster's effect until your opponent's next End Phase. (unsure if needs more specific or maybe 3 materials instead)

2 Level 7 monsters If your Life Points are lower than your opponent's: Increase this card's ATK equal to the difference halved. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy the next monster that battles with this card. When this effect is used: The next time this card attacks; it is changed to DEF position (after damage calculation) and loses 500 DEF.
One more thing, I was fiddling with the idea of making TMs/HMs cards, so I could actually try my hand at more Spells/Traps, so I tried not to make any of these effects seem like any of them. Just fyi. For no reason really, but anyway, this is them so far. Oh yeah. Sometimes spoilers don't work. Properly I mean. Hmmmm.

Therrion
Venasaur is great stall and turns around to really hurt your opponent. Since it does require EARTH, I guess it is somewhat balanced. What really balances it is how it takes a turn to become a threat. Charizard can destroy a face-up and a Set card with one material per turn, which is insane. Though, with his Summoning requirements it is balanced. Perhaps make it instead of or to where he must destroy 1 face-up and face-down, or 2 face-down (Wind-Up Rank 5 style). Blastoise is useless. Perhaps make it send all face-up Spell/Trap to the Graveyard as well, and at least it can serve as a stall breaker. As for the idea, much love. Rank Up for Mega Evolution is an amazing idea, as is using HM/TMs as Spell/Trap effects for Pokemon.

I usually just try and make the effects represent the Pokemon, and I didn't think that would work for Blastoise. I guess you know I tried to do Rapid Spin, but now I'm thinking it would still represent well enough while actually being useful, so I'll change it. For Charizard, do you mean what I have already along with "or 2 face-down"? Doesn't that actually give it more options? (or is that the point?) Or just the 2 face-down? That is the one thing I don't quite get. ^^; I mean, it's not like people use of or to where in a row under normal circumstances, so I'm just a bit confuzzeled.
