:^) Posted October 5, 2013 Report Share Posted October 5, 2013 When this card is Normal Summoned: Add 1 Bubble Counter (Max 1) to all face-up WATER monsters except any "Bubble Charge Warrior". Increase the ATK and DEF of monsters with a Bubble Counter on them by 500. Once per turn you can remove all Bubble Counters from the field: Either player draws cards equal to the amount of Bubble Counters removed from their side of the field. The Attack Increase is a bit high especially since Mermails are in Tier 1 right now (boarder lining Tier 0) and the Draw Ability will push Mermails to being Tier 0 really quick. They can easily spam the Field with 5 WATER Monsters and then use this effect to Draw 5. To be honest I don't know how you could fix this card easily that won't help Mermails.... Sora1499 Posted October 5, 2013 Report Share Posted October 5, 2013 Mermails aren't THAT big a deal, but the above poster is absolutely right: dropping a Teus, megalo, moulin, and/or tidal and then drawing 2+ cards arbitrarily is not fair. Fixes: *Change the draw effect to: "Once per turn: You can remove 1 bubble counter from the field; draw 1 card." Then it just becomes a NS-able +1, which is ok. Thank you, will fix it now, and I guess if I drop it to a 300 ATK inrease only, it'll make it less scary, but with it at 500 ATK and DEF it makes you maybe not want to remove the Bubble Counters. Alright thank you, however I'm thinking now of making it "Once per turn: You can remove up to 5 Bubble Counters from the field, then activate 1 of the following effects equal to the number of Bubble Counters you removed: * If you removed 1 Draw 1 card * If you removed 2 Eat a bagel * If you removed 3 Draw 2 cards * If you removed 4 or more Scream EXODIA!
