Miror B
Q: Why DIVINE? That doesn't seem realistic... A: 2 Reasons: 1) It exists. I have a right to make it. 2) Because honestly, I don't wanna deal with certain existing cards. Last thing I want to hear here is "Oh, that FIRE guy's too strong because 200 DEF" or "That LIGHT guy? Yea Beckoning Light breaks him" and especially not "Yea, that WATER guy's broken in Mermails :/" Q: Well if DIVINE, why not Divine-Beast? A: Because flavor-wise, it doesn't exactly do it for me. I mean Horus is supposed to be a powerful Warrior, and "Beast" doesn't describe him for me. And I don't wanna make "Divine-Warrior" because that just feels redundant to me. Plus I don't want to have to support my cards on my own. It's not meant to be an archtype after all, especially since most Egyptian gods hated each other anyway. Q: Why Normal Summon? Why not give them a Special Summon effect? A: Because I can, and because Fossil Dyna and stuff. Q: You described them, why not add pictures? A: Because I couldn't find any :/ Feel free to ask me to add more if needed.
So, I'm going to start with my favorite subject right now. The God's of the Demon Days.
Horus, Warrior of the Heavens ***** DIVINE/Beast-Warrior/Effect Normal Summoning this monster does not use your Normal Summon/Set for the turn. Once per turn: Target 1 set Spell or Trap card on the field; destroy that target, then if you do, this monster looses 300 ATK and Defense. You must control this face-up monster to activate and resolve this effect. During either player's turn: You can target 1 monster on the field; it cannot be destroyed this turn. You can only activate this effect once while this card is face-up on the field. 2500/1500 Description: A giant man with the head of a falcon, towering over a city with a Scimitar in hand and with battle-ready armor. So Horus was seen as a great warrior and said to be the sky as well as a great warrior. What do I do then? Give it a S/T destruction effect (common among old WIND monsters), then couple that with an anti-destruction effect akin to Radiant Stardust with Wind-Up clause. Flavor wise I think it's fine, trying to figure out how anti-spell/trap is going to fair.
More to come later, stay tuned!
Zextra
Technically, DIVINE cards are supposed to be posted in AOC, but since there isn't a written section for that (at least as of now), I'll just let this dwell here. :
