This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect.

● When this face-up card on the field is selected as an attack target by a monster whose Level/Rank is 4 or less, negate the attack. Once per turn, you can target 1 face-up Warrior-type monster on the field; this card's name is treated as the targeted monster's name until the End Phase.

8 Man or Eightman is a manga and anime superhero created in 1963 by science fiction writer Kazumasa Hirai and manga artist Jiro Kuwata. He is considered Japan's earliest cyborg superhero, predating even Kamen Rider (the same year, Shotaro Ishinomori created Cyborg 009), and was supposedly the inspiration for RoboCop.

 

I made 8 man a Gemini Monster because of his habit of donning a disguise when he's not doing any super heroics at the moment, but when theres evil afoot, he sheds his disguise and fights crime as the cyborg hero 8 Man. I also gave him an ability to negate attacks of weaker monsters due to his super speed and metal body. Lastly, his ability to adopt the name on any Warrior Type monster comes from the fact that he can disguise himself as virtually anyone he chooses.
